It ahh royally sucks. And what makes it suck even worse? When you have a smooth coated PUPPY!!. Ivan and Phoebe are not liking the extreme cold we are currently experiencing. Peewee on the other hand with his triple extra thick coat is loving it. I let everyone out this morning, 2 of the 3 hurried up and pottyed, 1 of the 3 took his sweet time and then refused to come. And to top of the thumbing of the nose at me, proceeded to LAY on the steps in the wind and cold. I swear it was to get me yelled at when the husband came home for leaving HIS dog outside on the porch.
I will say, my guys dont mind the cold too much. Yeah, when we had -30 windchill, they were not happy, but even into the teens they have no issues pottying, want to play in the snow, etc. I do have coats for them but we often dont use them as we just arent out for long periods and they seem totally fine.
Oh I am super stoked for Sunday
I just know the drop is going to cause crazy winds and possible issues.
Plus, my poor gardens!!!!
This year I expanded a TON in the fall....some of it rather late and many perennials that are a bit on the edge of my zone. Of course we have a crazy winter this year. All the warm than cold causes so many issues with the plants, especially if there is no snow to help insulate (which after the amazing 50s on sundy, the little bit we have will be melted and the ground will be soaked, freezing their roots....grrrrrrrrr!)
I am happy we are not back in the highs being under zero....I dont mind cold weather in general, but that sucked.

I hate migraines. Most of mine are caused by noise or excess exposure to unnatural light (ie, not sun)... and then I'm stuck in my dark cave of a bedroom for like a week.

Anyways. My vent-
I was playing Sims 3 pets when all of a sudden... it appears as though a monster has been masquerading as my horse, Kannon. WTF even.
She was such a pretty horse, and then this. Stop glitching out, Sims. I know it's a lot of code and whatever, but seriously.

And this cyst, this freaking cyst on my face...its now swelling my eye partially closed...like I can see it when I look straight ahead. I look like someone punched me and its causing headaches which will lead to migraines. Yes, I am whining. Do NOT want to go out tonight or tomorrow like this...

I ended up leaving work early because I started feeling really sick... got in a hot bath with some aromatherapy stuff going and started feeling better and then ended up with a second aura?? I've never had two before. My mom said she has. So I took a second migraine med at home, one that wasn't expired. Now I feel... weird. I got in bed in the dark for an hour and just all kinds of strange muscle stuff going on. Not really headachey. I almost feel drunk. Or hungover? It's so weird. I'm guessing it's just from the meds since they, you know, affect the blood vessels in the brain. X_X
Ugh. Probably not going to get anything done tonight except just laying around. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back to normal.
At this point I'd even settle for the 16 degrees.
I never used to mind winter. I don't know if my change in attitude is just because I like to do stuff with the dogs more these days, but uggghhhhh I am going so crazy not having even somewhat bearable temperatures! I'm holding out hope that February will bring nicer weather.
