^^Sounds like a good plan, LOL!

Those Fiestas have had some rather bizarre issues pop up, so you're not alone. I know that Ford has made some great strides as far as improving their brand, but you will never catch me in a Ford car. If magical things happen and I get my ranch, I'll probably pick up a Ford F-150 but that's it. (we have a Ford store in our company, so I get to hear a lot of this from the source).

Also, use NADA to get a more accurate value on your car. KBB is a tool used by banks and insurance companies to do their crazy value estimations, and that's about as far as it's usefulness extends. They have no bearing on reality.

Truthfully I do still really like my car, I just wish it worked. It randomly doesn't start. We replaced the starter and now sometimes it won't turn all the way off - gets stuck at "on" rather than switching all the way to "off." My dad went back and got a second starter and replaced that one... same problem. And it still randomly doesn't start. And sometimes when I turn it off the lights on the rear view mirror don't work. and then randomly start working again without me doing anything.

IT'S SO EXCITING NOT KNOWING WHEN THINGS WILL OR WON'T HAPPEN WITH MY CAR.

I love my Corolla. Very minor repairs and I've owned it 8 years. It is now 10 years old with 184,XXX miles and runs great. Not flashy, not fancy, but sure is dependable and great on gas!

The only things it's needed:
throttle body cleaned
brakes (x2 because the first job was done with generic--don't trust generic)
air conditioning fuse replaced
assorted light bulbs

Tada!

My gas light came on when I was coming into town earlier. I hate getting gas - ugh!

On a side note, I wonder why so many people tend to have major issues with Fords? That's pretty much all my family has owned and besides the minor incident where my sister's Focus caught on fire, they have been pretty good for us :p

My dad's '99 Escort has over 400,000 miles on it! The A/C doesn't work, but it's still going strong!

Plus it doesn't hurt that we get an employee discount since my uncle is a mechanic for Ford, lol.

My first and only car was a ford escort from 1999. Totally crapped out by about 50000 Kilometers. Before that it had issues. lots of issues. **** thing wouldn't go into reverse once (I was parallel parked yay) and I had to wait for about 4 hours until the person infront of me left.

It wasn't the vehicle itself (I had a GT mustang) but the company I had issues with, so I went back to Chevy / GM and have den much happier.

My doctor pisses me off and I'm going to find a new place to go. In the mean time I'm about to have to make an appt at the health department.

I'm really nervous about Fable's crate. I called OnTrac and the lady I talked to said she slipped a note with my phone number so the driver can call when he gets close. Apparently he reported the road is impassable (not surprising tbh, most people don't like the crazy unpaved hill I live down), so I want to get a hold of him. It's way past the other times tracking has told me it's out for delivery, so *biting nails*
Worst case scenario I don't get the **** crate. Best case scenario I run up to meet the driver and carry back a big box containing a big wire crate for about a mile. Though I'm happy to lug it home if he will just come!

Thank you, that means a lot to me! :)

I'm feeling a bit better tonight about it, but I don't know how I'll fair after the class with Talon tonight. O_O

I've been following all your posts about Fable, I really am hoping for some good "she's doing so much better" posts soon. I have my fingers crossed for her and you! ((((hugs)))))
I'm so glad! <3 How did the class go? Hopefully people used their brains and observed Talon looks extremely healthy (lovely coat and bright eyes, for example).

Thank you so much for your kind words about Fable! I appreciate it so much.

Microwave at work still broken.
Starving.
Boss keeps calling and having me make changes to webpage. Don't want to go get food because the roads still suck but can't even go if I wanted to because every two minutes he's calling or telling me to make changes.
Trying to decide what to order if I could order for delivery. Hardly anybody delivers over here. except jimmy johns. Don't really want to pay $6 for two slices of ham and cheese...

WHY are all the good Doctor Who quotes SO LONG?

I'm getting a RoadID and I can fit all my info into 3 lines, leaving me 2 lines to play with. So naturally, I want to put a Doctor Who quote into those 2 lines.

My first choice was the Doctor's promise, "Never cruel nor cowardly, never give up, never give in." But even without punctuation, it's THREE CHARACTERS too long. Hrmph. *crosses arms and pouts*

"There's always something to look at if you open your eyes"...too long.

Right now I have "There's always something worth living for." Not my favorite, but I think it'll do.
What about "Demons run when a good man goes to war"?

I had a 95 Corolla for a few years in maybe..2004-2007/8ish. It was seriously reliable. I hit a coyote and killed the A/C but overall I had no problems (minor oil leak, stuff like that).

uhm, have you actually seen how cheap the plans are? They are actually good plans. They are subsidized and if you don't make that much money, you will qualify for some. My brother for example is paying $30 a month for a silver level plan...the bronze would've been free (he does not make hardly anything but still...) And the fine is not that much either.

Whole hell of a lot cheaper than ending up in the ER with no health care

Just GRRRRRR

Had a plan for a certain soap for months now...finally had all the ingredients I needed. I TOTALLY screwed it up. After I had it all ready I realized I forgot one of th main ingredients so I had to muddy the colors all together to get the goat milk in and now it looks like grey poop

I'm looking at them and all I see are 6,000 deductibles for $120 a month :(
