Am I the only one that LIKES (or at the very least doesn't mind) alone time when my OH is gone? I love him don't get me wrong but I have always had a loner streak in me and that streak strangely likes being alone.

It's him who has the aspersions anxiety lol.... Me? I'm kind of like a good dog I guess, happy when you come home but also I understand that sometimes you have to leave lol.

I like being alone...for SHORT amounts of time. Like hours during the day. Maybe a day or two wouldt be awful if we didnt a have kids (meaning its not like I would be getting a break and alone time and b I am a big chicken at night.

But 9-13 weeks, I would be a total and complete wreck. Well, I would make it work and ajust of course but would hate it.

Oh, yes, don't get me wrong...when he was here all the time it was awesome having an evening or part of a day all to myself. Or even a weekend if he was out of town. But he was gone for 10 weeks. Home for 12 days. Now another 9-13 weeks. There is even a (small) potential I may not see him in the flesh again until November of this year, although I'm really, really trying not to think about that.

Thus, a pity party for myself. I am so, so thankful he doesn't want to be career military. I couldn't do this for the rest of my life. Also entirely thankful for my family, friends, coworkers, and my dogs. Couldn't do this without them, either.

Ooooh no, I like it too. For short doses, like overnight. I love having the bed to myself (and the dogs, they come to bed when he's not in!!). I like lounging around the house. I don't sleep so well without him though, oddly.

But I love it when he comes back the next morning too :D

I really don't like being away from him away from home though, on the other hand.... I can't ever sleep when I'm away. Feels wrong.

I don't know, maybe I'm weird then? I don't mine being alone ay night (of course my parents are here so there are other people in the HOUSE at night and sometimes during the day ... my parents are 70 years old now so once every month or for a week or two I come home and help them care for the animals and what not). but even when they go on their trips and I stay here alone with just me and the dogs, I don't get freaked out, even when I watch something scary because 1) I have a gun, 2) I know my way around my property and my house far better then any intruder would 3) I have dogs that would at the very least would alert of someone strange in the vicinity. and 4) there is only one way on and off the property and it is locked with a bolt cutter proof lock.

Went over to the old apartment to sign the lease break and leave my last month of rent. Marley was SO excited to see me and so sad looking when I left a few minutes later. I miss that leash-reactive champion back talking snuggler. :(

So our DM apparently pulled BeAu to the side and was talking to him about dating and policies and such. Neither of us are managers, and because we both have the same last name we've been on opposite shifts forever now. And BECAUSE we have the same last name, I'm not sure how he deducted the idea that we were dating. But apparently it's now a problem and we can't work in the same store.

Supposedly he's talking to me tomorrow morning when I go in, which is a major PITA, I foresee. I'm going to get cornered into moving stores or quitting. Moving stores isn't a feasible option with the crappy pay/hours they give me. So I'll be forced into quitting and looking for another job.

Which means another job down the drain in less than 6 months.

And I was just talking about how much I LIKED this job, too.

I know it was time.
I move too much, they are heavy, most haven't been read in years, I am far too emotionally attached to all of them, I buy too many, they were beginning to just take up space and gather dust

I donated all my books to the library :( they were so happy to receive them. Lots of best sellers and popular books as well as a few they hadn't seen before and plenty for the kids section.

297 books. And they are all gone :(
I guess it's not a vent. It's bitter sweet really. I'm just a little sad. I just couldn't keep moving with all of them.

Bye bye books

honestly if I wasn't such a nomad. I would NEVER lol
but I move on average every 7 months-a year and they are just really impossible to move with or ship.

Awh, I would be sad too :( I have to admire your fortitude though, we have a whole "extra" bookcase full of books in the hallway that no one ever reads, but no one really wants to get rid of them either.

My vent is that it's very cold (high of 3 degrees F tomorrow!). It's very snowy too, which I normally wouldn't mind, but I have to fly out on Monday and I really don't want my flight to get delayed...

yeah, we last moved almost 10 years ago...and I still have bad memories of how mnay trips is took for JUST books...and I have added SO many more since then. I am grateful for the slight dent my nook puts into the clutter with the almost 350 i have on it:/

Can they legally do that? Force you to quit or move stores? Just because you two have the same name?

I'm at a point in my life where I'm avoiding watching anything horse related. I'm avoiding tack stores and online saddle browsing. I'm avoiding my OTTB Connect FB group and Appaloosa Ranch Horse sale group and HGS.

I'm just really sad. I haven't ridden since October. Riding used to be my life and the fact that it isn't any longer just leaves a huge gaping hole. I get depressed when I see posts about horses or riding. I would love a horse, but for how OCD I am about care I just can't afford it. We don't have the land or the buildings to properly care for one, nor do we have a truck that could haul as frequently as I would need to. It's better for me not to have a horse than it is to half-ass it.

But I'm still sad. :(

Mediahint + BBC iPlayer.

Apparently it doesn't come out until the 19th in the US (and they really wonder why pirating is a thing?). I had no idea until after I watched it online lol. I also had no idea it doesn't come on BBCA, but on PBS.

Next episode is in 4 DAYS!

It took me TWO HOURS to watch due to congestion, but I made out better than a lot of people in that respect.
Didn't work for me :( So I caved, and was legal. Oh well, I paid 8€ and bought a series pass on Itunes for 8€. It now automatically downloads the new episodes that come out a day after they premier. Fine by me, 10pm is too late to start watching anyways. ;)

I'm sick. This came on FAST. Coughing yesterday evening, felt ok when I went to bed, woke up at 4 because I felt like total trash - throat is swollen, neck is stiff, coughing, super nasty fever.

I'm going to go in just in case I start feeling better. Also, because if it's worse than this Saturday I want them to send me home.
