The exciting news.
Okay so far we have five options ranging up to a two year old.
First option is Hiro's littermate, Bernard. He was spoken for but then his ears went one one way and one the other, so he's a half phalene, half pap. He's already through all his shots and is very healthy. He's a sweet boy and he's absolutely hilarious! Not as smart as some paps, but a great little guy. Our concerns are obviously that this is the same breeding as Hiro, however considering he's through the puppy shots that gave Hiro and his ancestors the problems, we feel he'll be fine. He's not showable too, which is a negative. Emily is really interested in him so far... We worry that he'll always remind her of Hiro.
Then there is a male tricolor papillon, about the same age as Bernard, who is owned by the sire's owner. He is showable I think but not up to the standard the breeder wants in a male he'd keep. Showing would be an option. Downside, he's a tricolor and Emily didn't want a tri again.
Then there's an undersized pet quality female that's an older pup. (I think under a year though, or right about at a year). She's a black and white papillon. I don't know much about her other than she was kept to show/breed but turned out pet quality so is looking for a home.
Then there is a female clear red and white sable (like Summer) who came from a situation like Rose's. She's very shy and timid like Rose and needs some special care. however, we've brought Rose around 180 and would most likely have no problem with this dog. The downsides is she's not suitable to show because she's too shy. She is also an older puppy, not full grown but not a youngster.
Then the last option is a tricolor two year old male that is pointed. He could be shown, but apparently has a problem keeping his tail up. Our breeder thought he was the least suitable to us. He's supposed to be completely gorgeous, though.
Anyways, I think all are from different breeders. I don't know, but I think Em is going to go meet these dogs and go from there. We're excited!
