I am currently reading Going Rogue by Sarah Palin.

Before this I read the Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.

And sometime before summer I intend to read all 7 Harry Potter books again.

Just finished "The Lost Hero" today. I think I liked it better than the first 5 Percy Jackson books. Really kept me interested. The characters were likable and I loved the whole Greek/Roman thing. Very clever. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

The Bricklayer by Noah Boyd. It's just kicking around at work, so I read it during my breaks. It's entertaining, in the way The Mentalist or Castle or any other quirky crime show would be if it were in book form.

I enjoyed that alot. Good banter between the characters. Kept you guessing a bit to the end.

I'm reading. . .

*drum roll*

The Key to Midnight by Dean Koontz.

If anyone is wondering, yes, I do actually read other stuff, lol. But I mentioned I liked Dean Koontz and now I have about a dozen more Dean Koontz books than I did then, thanks to my mom and grandmother. :) :p

The kids wanted to see "I am Number 4" this weekend. I got the book on Saturday evening. Just finished it. It was a quick read. It's "young adult" fiction, though, so that's expected. It was worth a read, I think. We're going to go see the movie this afternoon now.

The bonus is that there is a dog as a prominent character :)

I'm reading Nocturnal by Jacquelyn Frank, Kate Douglas, Jess Haines, and Clare Willis. It's interesting so far to say the least.

Just finished New Coyote, by Michael Bergey. I strongly recommend it. You'll like it if you enjoy Native American myths/legends/stories. When Coyote (yes, THE Coyote) is killed (again), the Powers That Be find him a new body, more attuned to the modern world. New Coyote tells his story.

I started No Exit, it's pretty good but I can never tell how I feel about plays until they're over.

Also re-reading Fight Club for a class...I actually like it pretty well, it's one that gets harsh criticism from most of my friends but I think it's cool.

And: Euripides, the Bacchants...I haven't started but I'm about to.

I am about to finish "Matched" by Ally Condie. It's kind of like the Hunger Games trilogy. It's a good, quick read.

Currently reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, because we were never made to read it in high school so I'm reading it now. Good book.

Current book list of 'to read':
Childhood's End
Hyperion
The Light Fantastic
Talon of Silver Hawk
Clan of Cave Bear
A Short History of Nearly Everything
Death by Black Hole
Elegant Universe (may cut this one as it's a re-read)
One Hundred Years of Solitude
The Experiment
The Name of the Wind
The Eye of the World
Lord Foul's Bane
Wizard's First Rule

.....c'monnnnn summer!

What criticism do they have? That's an awesome book.

I don't spend a lot of time reading any more. Crocheting seems to have taken over my life. But, I am listening to Salem's Lot in the car on my way to and from work.
