With the boyfriend, I'm playing FFXIV and Borderlands 2.

Alone I play Shin Megami Tensei 4 on the 3DS, and various indie games on PC. Mostly Starbound. >_>

When I was searching the picture I found some recent promising articles... one from March from Sony that says it's still in the works, they just want to make sure it's really good. Another from today that said it's rumoured by multiple sources that there will be a debut announcement at E3 (~month).
I saw the same articles. But I'm keeping my hopes low since it sounds like the development has been fraught with issues. At this point my guess is that if it releases it'll be released on past-gen consoles which doesn't really bode well. If it gets its act together and I can play it on PS4 I'll be absolutely giddy.

Oh, and playing Civ5 and Minecraft online with hubby and friends.

I've been waiting for Final Fantasy XV for the past 8 (!!!!!!!) years. It looks like it will actually be released soon. So don't give up hope!

I still have not bought any of the next gen consoles yet.
Me neither... my most recent console is the Wii. No Wii U... before the Wii it was my PS2. No PS3, and I don't own any of the various XBox consoles. =P

Console gaming has just gotten way too expensive for me. $400-500 for a console, then $50-70 for a video game... I struggle to even justify $30-40 for a DS game - and usually can't.

I want a Wii U just for smash bros but can't justify it. I'll probably just get the 3DS version.

I am excited about new pokemon! I never played Gen 3 (or 5) so that'll be fun. :D

I have a PS3, PS2, and a Wii... PS4 is just so freaking expensive and none of the launch titles really appeal enough.

I love my 3DS though.

Buying new-ish titles used from Kijiji is a great way to keep costs down. Turning around and selling them after you're done with them works well too. Doing it yourself instead of using grey-market retailers like EB is best if you don't mind a bit of leg work.

Michael was going to DIE without an XboxOne, so we bought it shortly after the move. It has been nothing but issues. I'm about ready to throw it out the window or make him sell it. We're currently only using it to watch Netflix, and it can't even do that right. He's stopped playing his games on it because the servers kept being down for maintenance. Get your butts in to gear, Microsoft, or we're going Sony.

In short, at this moment, you aren't missing out on anything the new systems have to offer. I love my PS3 and am still getting a ton of use out of it, I don't feel the need for a new system yet.

(Course, I think the only console we don't have is a PS4 or any of the Wiis. Lol And I may be getting a used Wii from a friend's sister, because, Mario kart. And Smash Brothers.)

I'm never actually "done" with pretty much any video game... I have 99% of every video game I've ever bought. The only time I've sold one is when I decide I don't actually like the game.
Replay value is not just a vague term with me. My SNES is carefully packed into a box for when I'm done moving. =P

Currently I am playing Thief on the PC. Also playing various things on Steam.

On the Xbox I am still poking around in Skyrim and playing Magic the Gathering 2012.

Looking forward to the new Dragon age.

As far as games that I play with no real story; everyday Minecraft and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare get played.

I play Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS mostly right now, Minecraft on the PC though.

Also playing Red Dead Redemption.....sort of, I keep getting sidetracked by riding all the horses around and shooting things.

Going to be starting the Bioshock series as my best friend bought me all the games. I just need to sit down and give them my full attention.

I also got all the Assassin's Creed games for Christmas....same with Bioshock, I just need to sit down to start them and give them my attention.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Pokemon X on the 3DS.

What didn't you like about it?
The game. The game part of it. :)

Game play, voice acting, story, level design, conveyance, AI, characters, load times... name it!

No offence intended if you're enjoying it though.

Hubby just bought Thief for the XboxOne. I don't think I'll be able to play it thanks to lovely motion sickness when playing things in first person, but I'm watching him play. We'll see how good it is!

I'm currently working on my fourth complete playthrough of the Mass Effect Trilogy. Because I'm obsessed. And every time I think "maybe I should play something differen-NO PLAY MASS EFFECT AGAIN!!!!" <3 At this very moment I just found the conduit and got my squad off Ilos. Almost there!

ETA: Sometimes I do mix it up and let my husband play his character(s) through Mass Effect. I CAN SHARE.

I have several half-finished games going on with my Nintendo DS. Most of them are several years old now. Harvest Moon and at least two versions of Pokemon come to mind. I'm just... DS games get BORING before the end. And they aren't Mass Effect. LOL
