Okay after a million zillion want-of-the-day threads, why don't we have ONE big thread where we can all post the shelter dogs (petfinder or any other site) we want to adopt but can't and comment on them and whatnot.

We can all wallow in our woe and misery of financial, family, zoning, and time restrictions about how many dogs we can actually have and how perfect *that* adoptable dog looks.

^Him. He's always there when I am on Petfinder, and he's so effing ceyuute. (I think he looks a bit like Amber's Junior, who I also think is ceyuute :p)

He is SO cute and does look like Amber's Junior.

This dog: Pet Rescue he's been there FOREVER and I love him so much.

Actually, if he's still there in about 8 months and I can get a dog at that point, I may *try* to get him. Hopefully he'll have a home by then :(

Awww, at least he is in a foster home and not a shelter. He looks so sweet.

Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton - Animal Shelter of Massachusetts for Dogs and Cats - Available Dogs

He's been there for a ridiculously long time, since I've been looking on their site (two years or so) he's been adopted and returned three times (or at least that's how many times he was taken off the site and put back on). If I was maybe 5 years older I'd snatch him up.

I feel really bad for her, sounds like she had a really caring family that just didn't understand her breed when they decided to get her. Luckily she gets to go to a foster home and not have to go to a kennel after all of those years in a home.

OMG! Bert the Sheltie looks just like my beloved Shiloh, who went to the Rainbow Bridge 5 years ago! Thank heavens he's in Texas and I'm here. :rolleyes:

This pup makes me squee. A new CC rescue started up in Philly, so now there's even more CCs to browse on Petfinder!

i think this guy is fantastic for some reason, even though he's just a black pit bull. it must be the ears ;)

Oh man, Jessie sounds just wonderful!

My dad's been wanting a big, protective type dog.... lol! She's good with little dogs too!

Its become even more dangerous for me ever since I added the PetFinder app to my iPod Touch:p I'm looking constantly it seems!!!

Even though I prefer bigger dogs, I've been looking at smaller-energetic-lively dogs on PetFinder lately. Mainly JRT's and Pap's, I always say to myself, "Well I might could get a smaller dog because they wouldn't cost as much" HA! I've been talking myself outta it and so far been successful at it :p

Then there is Rudy the Pit Bull Terrier, who is just SO stinkin' adorable. He's been there for a few months now and I can't believe no one has tried to scoop him up. He is just beautiful to me! <3
