In my almost daily petfinder perusing, I tend to fall in love. A lot. I can't have a dog right now, it just wouldn't be fair. And I have a Newfie breeder that I know very well who I plan to get a dog from when the time comes, but my second dog will definatley be a rescue, so I love to dream.

These are the dogs I'm currently wishing I could save:

Snickers:

What about you?

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=1955587 so so so pretty

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7670704 Bella <3

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7524349 And how could you not want that! He's so unusually cute!

There was also the most gorgeous poodle x golden retriever named Electra, but I can't find her pic now.

Next year, I may be getting a new one- possibly a rescue, but I tend to fall in love with the big dogs on petfinder and I'll only be allowed a dog under 25 lbs. We haven't had a rescue since Shack, so I'd like to rescue again eventually. I'm sure it'll work out whatever happens. I just keep forcing myself to wait. ;)

EDIT: Forgot- http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7734105 Isn't she pretty? Not sure what breeds she is, but gorgeous nonetheless.

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7715027--sooo sweet, was abandonded in a car :( Will not make it much longer--pits dont get much time.

Dal/pit mix, second one in 2 weeks, first ran out of time, this one is about to as well: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7725912

This one is in foster care but was pulled from the high kill shelter, I would take this dog in a second, I am soooo glad I already had a foster at the time & couldnt foster these 2. They are too cute. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7664439

I am sure I could find tons more from the area, but unlike you all I do not enjoy torturing myself*l*

This is my precious from work. I call her Sage even though that is not her real name. I swear she has some Doberman in her.

This is my Goofball Hamlet. Or Hamlita as he has been nicknamed. Turned into the shelter because he kept jumping on the children. Well, duh, you never trained him not to. Took me 15 min. to teach him. He has a grown up picture, but it has not been added yet. Smart as a whip, but sometimes naughty if he knows you won't enforce his commands.

And Hershey. My love butt and king of the belly rubs. I can't believe no one has taken him yet.

These are dogs from the rescue I volunteer at.

First, Abbot, who was returned for biting people. The man who adopted him was heavy handed in his training. Abbot is a sweet dog, but he is now afraid of men. If men let him come up to them on his own terms, he is fine. Abbot also likes other dogs! We think he is a Shar Pei/ACD mix.

This is Beauregard. He is a big, friendly rottie and so sweet! I just love this dog!

This is Colby. He is a big, friendly guy that is full of fun. People keep passing him up because he's older and black. People pass up black dogs.

This is Malcom. We think he's a Flatcoated Retriever mix. He is a sweet old man. People keep passing him up for younger dogs.

This is Orson. He's a sweet older rottie mix who's lovely with other dogs. Again another dog passed up due to age.

And lastly but not least, my baby, Sgt. Sammy. He is a sweet, funny, silly big oaf of a dog. I can never have him though because he doesn't like other dogs. He knows sit, and down and he loves to eat. And he also loves his tennis ball!

Ok I'm done. :)
