Falling in love with the new house. Nobody's put up a fight about Roxie being upstairs (but food/water bowls downstairs, playing downstairs, etc), and it's overall just an awesome house. Plus... no sidewalks!! Which means that I don't have to worry a whole lot about slipping and falling on ice (since the plow comes by) if I decide I wanna take Roxie for a walk, even though the weather sucks... cuz at the other place, sidewalks equal crazy drivers and you kinda can't walk in the nice, plowed road.
There's soooo many trails to hike, too!! I am a little curious to see how dog owners around here are, though... Where I used to live, there were always atleast 3 off-lead dogs we'd run into on a walk, and it would be really excellent if I could relax a bit if I see another dog a mile away while I'm out with the Roxer.
Also, showed the other house today... really really hopefully that the family liked it. Just overall a good day. Hoping to go hiking tomorrow, actually!!

Most excitingly, a photographer friend of mine (really good friend) asked me to second shoot for her at her weddings this summer!!! So incredibly pumped. Really good pay, and such a great way to gain experience and exposure. Yay!!! If all goes well I can probably collaborate a lot with her in the future, which would be just amazing.
Also, it finally is starting to feel like spring, the sun is out, and my cold that's been plaguing me for a week is FINALLY starting to get better.

Thank you...this is such an awesome opportunity. I've really been wanting to get into photography but there are lots of photographers around and it's hard to just bust your way into it. So this is an awesome way to get started, plus have some nice support as well.
