There's a chance we MIGHT be moving back to New Mexico... ummm omg YESSSSSS

We moved back to VA to be closer to Josh's family and because my dad, step mom and two of my sisters were moving from CA to VA. It's been nice, but I really miss NM. NM will always be home to me.

Josh and I were just talking and he said that he would be willing to move back to NM as long as we both have good jobs lined up already and have a place to move into that will allow our animals. We still need to save more money up as well so we are looking at maybe summertime if we do this.

I want SO bad to go back to NM.

Lot of good things to look forward to this year. :)

My divorce from Jin. After a year of waiting, finally.

BeAu and I are taking a week or so in April/May to visit Colorado and see awesome people and their awesome dogs. Myabe we'll bring something home! ;)

And that is revving us up to move out there next spring.

I'm trading in my car for something more practical and more my style for said moving and dog transporting.

I'm getting back in school this Fall. I only have a semester's worth of classes keeping me from 3 different Associate's Degrees. Then I can continue a BS and BA in Colorado.

Elder Scrolls Online (had to say it) :rofl1:

Everything is lining up quite nicely. I'm loving life right now. Happy happy happy happy.

I love random bonding with friends.

Left work and just sat in my car with my co-worker having a heart to heart for 3 hours. :yikes:

Felt good. He's only been in the area for about 6 months so he needs new friends and I do too. And I might get to photograph his wedding in the spring! Plus it's always nice having another guy's opinion on relationships. XD

Tonight at Awana, Hannah asked the leaders if they could pray for her daddy when they closed in prayer so they had Hannah come up and lead the prayer and she asked God to please help daddy to get better and for his hip to work right. On the way home, she asked me not to tell daddy. She said she knows it was a nice thing to do but that she wants the nice things she does to be between her and God. Awwww

I've been so frustrated that I haven't had any recall-able dreams lately. One of the weekly features in my blog this year was supposed to be short stories based on my dreams, or at the very least excerpts from my dream journal.

Well, I fell out of the habit of dream journaling almost 2 years ago, and I think that had a LOT to do with not remembering. I started putting an effort into journaling again over the last several days. A couple days ago I got a few snippets of a dream on paper as it faded from my mind (I can't even remember what it was, I'd have to go look at it).

Well, apparently that was enough to get my dreaming kicked into gear again because I had a cracker of a dream when I took a nap earlier (napping dreams tend to be more vivid for me, since I fall directly into REM sleep most of the time). It was very exciting, very Sherlock-y (right down to the color scheme), and just awesome - fun and terrifying and brilliant and I'm so proud of my brain right now :rofl1:

I have some material for my Sunday blog post now :D

I had the BEST day snowboarding yet! I seem to have finally gotten the hanging of carving and was able to make it down one of the big hills in good time and doing S curves the whole way--only falling ONCE! Peak 8 had thwarted me pretty badly the last time I was there; lots of falls and took me like 45 minutes to get down a hill that should not take that long.

So I might actually be getting the hang of this! :D going to Winter Park on Sunday with the big crew, so we'll see if this sticks.

I had a dream this morning that started off as Michael and I going to Disney World, but ended up with us in a kind of "I am Legend"/"Hunger Games" type universe. And apparently the entire dream was just part of an interactive move, because I remember telling Michael halfway through that I had seen the movie before they came out with this interactive technology, and if it got too intense I may have to take the glasses off because I didn't want to get freaked out. (Frequently in my dreams when I KNOW they are going to get scary, I try to dream myself and out in them to avoid the scary part. Once I was drowning, but then I was suddenly able to breathe under water and avoid that catastrophe.)

Anyways, he and I and a few other people were in this van in a huge city run by nobles and populated by brainwashed people trying to find this document of some kind. After some things that happened that I don't really remember, I left the van and went to a transport station where I found the document. The lady driving the van wanted to use the document's coordinates and leave the city to travel and travel to that point, but I was having a panic attack because when you leave the city, the safety of the lights are gone, and zombie-like-creatures come out at night and try to kill you. (I apparently would make a horrible heroine in a story. ROFLMAO)

Long story short, her partner stole the document from me, activated it (which triggered all kinds of security alarms throughout the City - kind of like WallE when the plant code is activated) and I was arrested by the Nobles. Later released because Mike saved me, but at that point I was NOT happy.

Then I woke up. I love dreams. :D

Had drinks and cupcakes last night, which was pretty awesome. Fun times with fun people is always awesome.

Situation with work was easily resolved. BeAu is staying, and I am getting moved to a higher volume store that offers me more opportunities and more pay for the future. Even if they don't give me the hours I need, back up plan for another wonderfully paying job is solid.

The stalking situation is finally taken care of, thanks to the insistance of everyone here. Records are records, so I can move on in peace...no matter what happens next.

Finally figured out what was wrong with my computer! So YAY INTERWEBZ.

I love productive days. Maybe not GOOD days, but productive = good news, yes?

Nimbus has been medically cleared of anything wrong with her, except she has schnauzer bumps, which isn't a deal breaker in my eyes. Filling out adoption paperwork Saturday. :D

In an effort to get more organized...I started a blog to keep track of my soaps and other stuff I make. So far I just have most of the soaps listed (I have other soaps I have made but either am not happy with the outcome or only have like a bar left)

http://greenmagickherbals.blogspot.com/
I'm allergic to lavender, and I have some really dry skin even after using a soap like Dove for senstive/dry skin.

Is there something you make (that's not a rough feeling soap on my hands, I can't stand that) that would help? Especially when shaving. I get ingrown hairs on my legs that hurt like hell, but I'm not sure if that's a ME problem or a soap problem lol. Maybe something a little more exfoliating would help?

It's Friday. It's the last day of my 2nd job (couldn't handle having two jobs for the moment so I quit). And it's a 3 day weekend. HECK YES.

How does your skin handle coconut oil? Some people find it drying even using is straight. If it works well, I have a straight coconut oil soap that is superfatted at a high % that I find very moisturizing. I actually use almost all of these on my face even but everyone is going to be a bit different.

The Herbal Daze one is lavender free and full of skin nourishing herbs and some has some clay that gives it some 'slip' making it guide smoothly. Or a goatmilk, oatmeal and honey is exfoliating (light exfoliation) but that might feel rough on your hand. The sea salt and charcoal is a bit as well, I find it nice and smooth but there is a bit of chunkier charcoal that may be a bit rough for some.
