June work schedule at the zoo is pretty crazy, but I'm getting a TON of hours! Also, it means I have to stretch my practicum in Farms out longer instead of getting it all done in 8 weeks. This is good because I'm LOVING it, and I'm happy to work there through the summer. Same number of hours, just in a different arrangement. I'm really, really going to miss this department when my practicum is over. Maybe I get lucky and a position comes open AND, if that happened...farms is a county position while education is a society position, so I can actually keep BOTH zoo jobs if that were to actually happen.

Also, Jagrafess has hit the 30g mark! He stopped eating Repashy CGD completely, so I switched him to Big Fat Gecko Smoothie, which he ate okay, but then stopped eating except for a lick here and there. I got a sample of Clark's to try, and he LOVES it! He actually comes up to his feeding area to eat before I ever put his food in. He went from 27g to 30g in the span of just over 2 weeks! I do feel bad that I didn't feed him tonight, because he was waiting for his food, but I don't want to overfeed him, either. Once he's eating this regularly for a while, I'm going to try to get him to eat on his feeding ledge. He will lounge on the feeding ledge and soak in his water dish on the ledge, but he won't eat off of it. He gets fed on top of his humid hide right now. AND, I'm switching him to coir substrate this weekend!

Zora is such a good puppy She's only peed inside once (on a mat), she woke up ONCE last night and she hasn't gotten into any major things. She did try and uproot our flowers last though during puppy zoomies.

She's also smart as heck. We should be afraid. Very Afraid. And she can almost jump the fence. -.-

Fred had his first hydrotherapy session today!!!! He is a water baby!! Finally got him swimming normally too (he was trying to swim without using his behind.. ). I couldn't go, but oh got videos. I will upload later so proud.

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and its FUN!

Yup, I have to give my 2 weeks when I go into work tonight.

I am going to see if C&D will let me stay on as a part-time team member (so, big demotion, lol) just for some extra hours, but we'll see how they take my telling them I got another job. Unfortunately another full time management member just left (for a job at my new clinic's sister clinic ), so we are shorter staffed management wise than is ideal. At all.

But I can't say no to this opportunity

I just got the phone call I was waiting on all day. Finally, RELIEF!!! News from my friends doctor - very good news the all clear, she's healthy and no more concerns! :banana: wooot!

I was so imeadiatly relieved that I had to sit down from exhaustion and I cried now I feel like it's time to partay! :rofl1:

I have a "try out the position" thing for a potential job next Tuesday. It's only 9 hours per week but I have a feeling I'd REALLY enjoy it. This person has been trying to dissuade me from doing behavior since I met her a few years ago now...

I slept in gloriously this morning and now am enjoying a lazy morning. This afternoon I'm gonna spend with the doggies. <3 We've only hiked ONCE this last week with this crap weather plus me being gone so often trying to help people clean up post-tornadoes. I've been going non-stop for over a week now. Memorial day weekend was spent cleaning up the mess and volunteering with the oklahoma humane society. So basically just busy moving things, on my feet, waking up at 6 every day. It felt awesome to sleep in until 9. The girls have been so good about it all but they deserve a nice, busy afternoon.

Tomorrow I'm working at an agility trial all day.

Finally got Recon's TL number requested for the premier. Two weeks out... I'm a little behind. haha. But we're going to be doing SO MUCH DOCK DIVING at the premier and a few other local events this month. SO EXCITED. Frag and Recon will have some fancy letters after their names, soon.
