A few weeks ago I had a loaf of bread on the counter. I came home and it was gone, with the plastic ripped up on the floor. Whatever, my fault, I left it within reach. Not sure which dog did it, but I guessed Riff since Rowan has eased up on his counter surfing a tiny bit, and the bread was pretty far back.
I buy a replacement loaf and without thinking about it leave it on the counter again. Again I come home to no bread. Still not sure, still guessing Riff. I chastise myself and don't buy bread for a while.
Yesterday I bought a loaf of bread, actually thought to keep it on top of the fridge, whatever. I made myself toast for dinner then went to take a shower. As I'm about to get in I hear my mom say "Hey..." and then "what are you doing in there?" I yell "What did they do?" as I'm trying to rush out of the bathroom. My mom laughs and says "He got the bread!"
LOL. I forgot to put it back up high after I made my toast. It *was* Riff and I'm not even mad because I'm apparently enough of a dumbass that I'll make that mistake not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. I'm also wondering just why bread appears to be Riff's crack. There are tomatoes on the counter too, and occasionally other little things, but no, it's always the bread.
I'm also confused because she said that he took the plastic thingy off the top to open it up instead of just ripping through the plastic. Uhhh. What? Tearing it would be faster... he's such a weird dog. I can't stop laughing.
