$1000 for a castoff seems pretty steep to me . Even for that cute face .

I know, We are trying to bring it down.. I personally think she will be giving him to us, just for the cost of his kennel/bed/whaatever crap food they have for him..

Isnt he just the cutest? how could anybody NOT love this boy:confused::(

Cute dog. But I think anything over $150, simply for his supplies and vaccinations, if he's had any, is the maximum. $1,000? Sounds beyond insane.

how about you ask your vet how much it would cost to get his vaccinations, check up, neuter. and then give them a note from the vet saying how much it would cost.
then take that number and deduct it from the $1000, it should ATLEAST make a dent and help them understand

Asking $1000 for a rehome seems like they're just looking at him as a used car or something. :( Hope you can get him for a lot less or nothing at all.

My mom just called me from work.. she is going to call The person that has him now and ask how much she wants for him (Even tho my auntts SIL already told us..) And then we will see if we can talk them down! For some reason, i think this is going to work out.. i have one of those Gut feelings! .. I need good vibes, fingers, toes and paws crossed..

I've got to wonder -- if they find someone to pay even a couple of hundred for him, how long it will be before they've posted the next "rehome." Stinks like a scam . . . Shame that people would use cute little animals. I just hope that's not the case here.

A grand?? Jeezums... I agree, this stinks of somebody trying to make a buck off their castaway. Sad, sad, sad. I hope somebody who really cares for him can get him and take him in, but yikes. Why on earth do they think they'll get a grand for him?!
