*sigh*

She's found new prey . . . .

It's blue, it flickers enticingly, it hides under cover then darts out and just pisses her off mightily.

I heard her growling the other night in the living room at my parents' house, and there she was, crouched in front of the fireplace, stalking the low flame that stays on in the gas logs.

Singed her silly whiskers when she tried to bite it

Kharma was laying there (on the sofa, of course, lmao) watching her. You could see Kharma enjoying watching the silly puppy do something incredibly dumb. She forgets that she's the puppy who attacked the electric cattle fence :D

Now Tallulah sits in front of it and chatters her jaws and growls under her breath and paws at the logs without quite touching them.

She's not allowed in the living room by herself anymore

Silly. She's going to get the crap burned out of her. And you know she will, she's a determined little bugger.

Ah, prey drive kicks in and self-preservation evaporates

You can watch her and tell she's trying to puzzle out how to kill this thing without getting burned again. She hasn't stuck her nose back in there at least.

Wow, glad she didn't get hurt. CJ never liked to go anywhere near the fireplace if it was on.

Orson doesn't either, which is surprising because he is a giant shivering chihuahua when it's chilly

I can just imagine Kharma thinking that old comedy routine about kids!

"Let'em pull the TV off on him one time..........he won't do that no more!" :lol-sign:

Silly grrrrl, LOL

Ah, I think it's more that they're Terriers, lol . . . Drivey, focused and fearless, and sometimes that overrides common sense. It's not like they were bred to have an overwhelming sense of self-preservation. If they did, they wouldn't be willing to take on things many times their size. Shoot, the silly little bitch has even been standing with her front feet on Shiva's shoulders

Hey, Phoebe is NOTORIOUS for trying to attack fireworks and sparklers! She must be locked in the house when we are around anything like that.

Once in Arkansas at my sister's house, we had a night of fireworks out in the yard and phoebe tried her best to out run and jump up to get bottle rockets........we put her inside. The next morning my brother in law cleaned up all the mess and put it into the burn barrel (smart huh?), when lit it made a whole NEW fireworks display and phoebe came FLYING!

DUMB AND CRAZY dogs are more like it, LOL
