Summer is Coming to an End and I Haven't Had Any Fried Green Tomatoes

Luckily a house about 6 blocks over sell off their porch . Honor system @ $1.50 a # . They're wonderful ! I'm eating a tomato sandwich as I type !!! Not B or L though !! Next time I go , I'll ask if I can buy a green one !! I just like to saute in butter with onion . I too haven't been swimming this summer ! Must buy some Indiana corn !!! It sucks to buy one ear though !!! It sucks to cook for one !!!!

Haven't had Mom's blueberry pie yet, or wilted lettuce salad

There's nothing like wild blue berry pie !!!! I'd kill for one of my Mom's now !!! Store bought doesn't do it !!! Ours were from the hills of Quebec bought by the bucket .... I never could gather enough !
