In addition, we've nabbed breeders for less than what I've heard. How it's okay to call a breeder out on their faults when they're not members, but once that breeder is a member we can't ask them about their breeding practices? I don't understand that logic.
You're exactly right, Sizzle. There's nothing logical about saying a breeder can't be asked questions and called out about their practices just because they're registered as a member.

We keep it away from name-calling and mindless flaming, but there's not a thing wrong with pointed questions. If there's nothing shady about someone's breeding practices, then there's nothing for them to be defensive - or offensive - over, is there? I would imagine that an ethical breeder would be thrilled to come into contact with a group of people so passionate about upholding good breeding practices.

Now . . . as for Red . . . . Red's respected by many, myself included. And she got that respect the hard way. She EARNED it. And yah, she's even made friends, too.

'Nuff said.

Then why was she banned? Forget I asked I probably already know the answer....

I also speak my mind and don't take her BS.. That's one of the major reason's her and I don't get along..

And her getting banned had nothing to do (as far as I know) with lying or anything of that sort.
She is very straightforward and speaks her mind from what I've seen on here, and many people just don't like being faced with the truth. ;)

Because it's always the same dynamic with her.. ;) I wasn't laughing at the breed standard.. I was laughing at the person that posted it.... :yikes:

Why is that funny? First you laugh at the Rottweiler Breed Standards (which I thought was in poor taste - especially for a breeder to do), now you laugh at a few of our longtime members PMing concerns to other longtime members... what's so funny?

This thread is not about Redyre and her time as a member here.

People are asking YOU questions about your dogs and your breeding practices, because there are some rather disturbing rumors going around as to your standing.

While I have no problem on calling a breeder out on the care of their dogs, I will AGAIN request that the "he said, she said" crap from other forums stays on those forums. This isn't high school.

And by "same dynamic" - you mean trying her utmost to protect the breed she loves? I think people can think what they want of Red, but her undying pursuit of the betterment of her breed is apparent and admirable. If only all breeders were as tenacious about protecting their breed as Red...

The reasons I have issue with you, Vaccaro, have nothing to do with your "speaking your mind", and everything to do with your careless and intentional pillaging of this breed.

If she's trying to "protect" her breed so much.. Why did she breed two failing elbows together? If she was as ethical as she claims to be she wouldn't have done that.. She bitched this lady out for wanting to do the samething and told her she would be unethical if she did.. Then long and behold Penny's elbows fail and she breeds her to a male with bad elbows also...

Why is it ok for her to breed a dog with bad elbows but not anybody else? Redyre is a "Do as I say but not as I do" person.. What's alright for her to do isn't alright for somebody else...

Out of all the forums she's on... you people are the only one's that stick up for her.. That's great for her.. really it is.... I guess everybody needs some friends....

Please do not post incorrect information about my dogs or my breedings.

My bitch has one elbow Grade 1 DJD, the sire of the litter has the opposite elbow Grade 1 DJD. All the health testing and information relating to this litter is public at the OFAs website. She also has a normal elbow rating for both elbows from OVC. Some people may have chosen not to make that breeding. The health testing for every puppy in this litter will be on the OFA website as soon as they are old enough for testing, so you, along with all my other critics, can review it there and make your own judgements.

My bitch is also a multiple Best In Show winner at UKC shows, won High In Trial for EVERY leg of her UKC CD title, made the top 10 in the ARC rankings for her AKC CD title, finished her AKC Championship title at 25 months with 2 four point majors, is a working therapy dog, and recently was honored with the American Rottweiler Club's Good Samaritan Award for her work to promote a positive image of her breed in our community.

At 10 months old, several puppies have nice Reserve wins at AKC shows, one is a UKC CH with a Group win and 2 Group placements, and one is already AKC pointed with a Best of Breed win.

Let's just hear what YOU have done lately with YOUR dogs, and let's do see the health testing on the parents of YOUR recent litters, since you want to bring up that topic.

How long has it been since I had a litter Redyre? If I was really that intent on hurting "our breed" I wouldn't be sitting here fighting with everybody about what I did or didn't do with my dogs.. somebody that doesn't care about the breed and only wants to hurt it doesn't come on a forum and fight with people to protect their name.... I own one female.. she's been in heat twice now and hasn't been bred...

For about two years now...
Here are results from a USRC show in May:
http://www.vomstreitweinrottweilers.com/USRC-2008-Nationals-ChampionClass.html

The only owners are Janice Keenan and Gerald Bell.

Same with the DNA papers that were from two years ago coming this July. I don't understand why Janice isn't acknowledging you on her website either.

Oh well, I guess once she e-mails back confirming that you are right my suspiscions can take a rest, right?

You have not had a litter since your last two bitches DIED, one at 19 months old, and one in whelp at a time when she should have been a retired veteran. You have not had a litter because you have not had a bitch to breed.

It's not about how many titles Penny has or how her kids have one at show's already... You just don't "get it" do you?

I'm curious.. How many dogs where in Milton's "bred by" class when he won that Best Of Breed?

It was a small entry, which anyone can verify.

He won one point, and he won it fair and square at the end of my leash. I am PROUD of that win. It will be very nice one day in the not too distant future when he has 14 more to go with it.
