Spring Babies

We have this barn cat named Shelby. She is actully a grandmother a few times over maybe even a great grandmother. Who knows? Well last night I went to look in our garbage can (where we throw all the twine from the hay bails in) and there she was with four little "bobble heads". They are so cute. There are three boys and one girl. Three are black and white and one is a dark tiger. I wish I could take a picture of them but I don't want to disturb her and have her move them. They are just so adorable.

Awww! I LOVE baby barn kitties! Summers on the farm I would always keep an eye on the pregnant momma's and then hunt for the kitten nest. I miss barn kitties.

What do you do with the kittens? Is there any possibility of trapping the mother cat and having her spayed? There's enough of an overpopulation in the world as it is!

Having said that, I bet they're all completely adorable and you want to eat them up!

Congrats on the new babies, but there really are so many cats already...
Apparently, for every human child born there are 7 kittens born.
Please spay and neuter!

Yeah the kittens are so cute. I have to leave some food in with the mother because she will not leave her kittens. She is such a good mother.
