Does your dog have them? lol.
I know, kind of odd question, and we're in sort of a unique situation where Jackson kind of has two houses. We typically spend about half our time at my dads house, and the other half at my moms. Sometimes we'll go there every other week, sometimes more, but it's usually 4 days in a row at a time.
Now at my moms he's the only dog/animal. He's definitely a lot more laid back, he sleeps in with me until 10 or 11, but still needs a good amount of mental and physical stimulation for him to not start being whiny and needy by the evening, but a good walk and a few romps outside on our 3 acres, and a session of trick training will do. He only barks when someone knocks or comes in the door. He's just a lot more relaxed in general.
At my dads, there's a fenced yard, a pool, two other dogs, two cats, a woman coming in working for my dads company every day, my brother often has a friend over, four wheelers, tractors, mowers going on outside, loose dogs roaming, he's paid a lot more attention to (dad and stepmom are way more dog people vs. my mom and stepdad). But seriously, he's a different dog... he's always sooo high strung, always on alert, needs to be kept busy constantly. He has a BLAST when he's over there - I think there's just SO much going on, that he doesn't want to miss anything. Not to say he doesn't lay down and chill, too, and he sleeps good but does wake up a lot earlier... but he's just got incredible amounts of energy, which I actually like, but after a few days, I like getting back to our normal routine at my moms house. It can also be frustrating because my dads dogs are the most untrained dogs in the world... and he ALWAYS follows their lead.
But it's funny. If my dad saw Jackson in any other environment, I don't think he'd believe he's the same dog.
