Mac and cheese with hotdogs in it is gross. I never understood why people want to ruin perfectly good mac and cheese.
This. My mom makes the best mac and cheese. Hot dogs would so ruin it. We don't even put any kind of meat in it.

Oddly enough I had this today... We made "rapunzle hair" out of hotdogs, stick the spaghetti in it and boil together... And put cheese on the 'hair'

It was good. It tasted like Mac n cheese with hot dogs. But I could take it or leave it, it was a fun activity for kids cooking in the kitchen though :)

I don't ruin perfectly good mac and cheese, I only ever put hot dogs in the boxed stuff. :p

If I make my own, I put ham steak in there. Or, if I'm not feeling lazy, filet. And then top it with tomatoes. When I would eat boxed mac and cheese like it was my job, hot dogs were a welcome addition. Boil the hot dog with the macaroni, and you get a perfect saltiness to the pasta. Nom.

Never heard of it. And I don't really like hot dogs or spaghetti sooo the combination sounds horrifying to me. :p

Hot dogs in mac n cheese, now that was a frequent meal when I was a kid.

I always eat Spaghettio's with meatballs with a couple slices of bologna and cheese and make little meatball tacos using the slices of bologna and cheese. Lol. It's delicious, but my family thinks I'm awfully weird for it.

It was a staple of my mom's house growing up.

Hot dogs was the meat we use in everything. Spaghetti and hot dogs, mac 'n cheese and hot dogs, hot dog sandwich, hot dogs and mashed potatoes.

I was very happy when I went to live with my father. To be fair, my mom was a single mother working 12 hour days to make ends meet and raising 3 big, growing boys on her own, with no daycare and no one to help her (yes, we walked to school and home, and had entire afternoons to ourselves from age 7 to 14. You can imagine how awful we were.)

So quick and easy was the way to go. Unfortunately for us!

Mom would (and still does) fix homemade mac and cheese and put chunks of ham in it. Now THAT is good. :D It's like having hot ham and cheese in pasta form!

Yeah no.

This is the first I've heard of it, and it's icky sounding. When we have spaghetti we brown ground beef, and then add the sauce and heat it all up. I think that is amazing. But no hotdogs.

We have made mashed potatoes, and then stirred in grilled hotdogs and corn. That was pretty good back then, but not it's making my stomach queasy
