So... Morgan was scratching an itch and started crying. I went to take a look and found that the inside of his ear is scratched raw. I have no idea when this happened!
Since it's almost 10pm here, running to the vet isn't really an option, though I don't think it's quite bad enough to warrant that a this point, anyways. Is there something I can put on his sore ear in the meantime? Neosporin? Bactine? Anything?
At the very least, I think he's going to get a bath tonight, in case he's just itching from being dirty. I doubt it's a food thing, since he's been on the same food for 18 months, though I suppose it's still possible...
My poor buddy just can't seem to get a break. Last week he was sick and mopey, and now his ear hurts. I know there are much worse things I could be dealing with, and I'm thankful that it's just these "little" problems, but it still makes me so sad to see Morgan so unhappy.
