Sooooo Tired!

Just wanted to vent a little!

I have had Brinley for a little over a week now and I'm exhausted. Who would have ever thought it would take this much out of you. And Im losing my precious sleep. She wakes up about 2 times a night for me to let her out and then at 6 am almost on the dot. And for some "strange" reason...my hubby never seems to awaken from her barking/whining....so its all me. The 6 am is no biggy during the week cause I need to get up for work anyway, but on the weekends it is a killer!

But I look at her adorable little puppy face and realize....she's worth it! I guess you need to put the time in now so that you have a good adult dog.

Awww I'm sorry you're having a rough time, but enjoy the time you have with her now. They grow up fast! As far as your husband sleeping through the whining, I have the same problem

LOL...I think I got more sleep when my kids were babies!
Things are easing up around here because puppy can hold it through the night....he goes down to bed with me at 10 or 11 and he doesnt wake me up until 6 or 7.
Its during the day!!!!!! I cant do anything or accomplish even the smallest of jobs without crating him or tying him to my belt loop.
It does get better....I promise.

Yeah, I only got half the laundry done this weekend. And I NEED to wash those floors. I thought it was bad with just hubby tracking in grass/dirt from the garden. Now the puppy tracks in even more additionally. Plus she is afraid of the vacuum so I avoided the floors this weekend and they are gross. I think Ill make hubby taker her outside to play tonight while I tackle the floors and the rest of my laundry.
