In addition to picking up 2 more legs for his Rally Novice C title with scores of 197 and 198 and finishing his CD title with a 192 and HIT (even with one very huge handler error that should have NQ'd us
), what makes me most thrilled with Tyr's weekend performance was how he behaved outside the ring.
He was so calm, polite, manageable. He didn't try to harass and molest everyone (a couple minor incidents - one dog that he just thought was the best thing he'd ever seen and one mouthy attempt to grab the judge after the trial). He was able to quietly lie down next to me while other dogs walked past or played nearby. He didn't get his usual diarrhea, either.
Maybe I will keep this dog for a little longer.:dunno:
