Slicker Brushes- A Dogs Best Friend

Does anyone love the slicker brush like I do? LOL I feel obsessed with it, but what can I say, its great!! I was using a brush on Liz that has the pins on one side and the black bristles on one side and the black did nothing, and the pins on the other side really pulled at her fur and she didn’t like it much. But yesterday I got the slicker I ordered and I had to try it out.

Well she actually laid down on the floor and she was just vibrating with happiness! She actually did that teeth clicking movement she only does when I scratch her in a good spot so I think I can say its good for me! It removed all the dead hair, and her “butt fur” had a few tangles (she has so much of it!) and the slicker really took them out with no problems.

Now Im looking for a good dematter and a cologne spray anyone have any ideas? I order from Jeffers pet and Drs. F &M so something from there would be ideal. Thanks!

YAY for slicker brushes!! It works great for all of my dogs, especially my lab and border collie. My BC used to look so huge because of all that fur and now she's shrinking.

For dematting as well as a nice light scent I just use Suave hair conditioner watered down in a spray bottle. It comes in a variety of scents and isn't overpowering.

very nice! I never would have imagined it! and Suave just happens to be my choice of conditioners, in my hair cheaper is better!

I dont know what I would do without my slicker brush! Infact, its the only doggie brush I own, and probably the only ones I ever will buy. Its great for brushing out slight mats, getting all that loose hair out, and when I can't find my own brush, I use it too!
