OMG..............whoever that is would be KING of Orsonville as long as he kept those 'hats' coming :rofl1:

All hail the KING! :hail::hail:
I hope Orson is delicate. I know Roman would get a little overzealous in taking his "hats" and, uh, get some Crunch n' Brains with his pancake lol ;)

Victor says pancakes shamcakes..you ain't done nothing until you have to hold silly teeth in your mouth. Why he puts up with me I do not know but I love him for it. He actually gets upset if I do this with another animal...I guess I do not have my favorites in photobucket which is a shame.

Wow, that was a read! Haha. I just spent an hour of my life reading forum drama LOL I wanted to let everyone know, even if you have "boring" dogs, I always look at all the pictures! (<3 Morrison and Sawyer). I often don't reply though, because usually I'm surfing on my phone and it is waaaay too much hassle to log in and comment on things. Especially when I'm on my lunch hour.

I don't post lots about my personal life, or my dogs. I believe I have been open about getting the JRTs from backyard breeders (Mini and Micki are siblings, Kyra is Mini's daughter). That was 6 years ago, RIGHT before I joined forums, learned and got Jack from a rescue. I used to feel extremely uncomfortable posting pictures of the JRTs because I know that people are judging them based on how they look and not who they really are. I know that they're great dogs, I love them and that's all that matters to me now.

I used to be like some of the people that were commenting a few pages back about not being in the "in group" and feeling like an outsider to an awesome party. Occasionally I still feel that way but I've taken a whole new outlook on the forums. I realized that it really isn't important to me to gain the approval or friendship of every single person on the forum. I used to crave the attention from others and the feeling of belonging. I still don't share much here about me because I don't feel as comfortable, or I feel like it pales in comparison to some of the other more important threads out there.

I try to go into chat, but end up feeling like a creeper and just reading what's going on. Even in person I don't jump into conversations often, and I know if you don't participate you can't get the full effect of anything. I have had less than splendid "friendships" because I'm the most overlooked in a group. I think I'm better at one on one interactions, lol.

Now I'm just rambling, usually I would write all of this and then delete it even before submitting a reply, but I think I'll actually post this time ;) Not that it really matters haha

ps. I have enjoyed all of the dog (and bunny pictures) in this thread.

You missed the point, which was that the harsh and quick to attack attitude that comes out here too often is so pernicious that even those who HAVEN'T done anything to be censured for know to expect it -- and the wise ones avoid it by not sharing it.

No, Chi thing ISN'T as serious as lying, and I never said it was; what I said was it was as strange (foreign) to me as other things are to others of you, but even so, Jessie didn't particularly care to say anything about it for fear of being jumped, did she? If this board has become that intimidating -- and here's the point -- maybe some serious thought needs to be given to dialing it back and treating others as you would like to be treated.
Yes, I understand now. :)

Again, I want to thank the mods for letting this discussion continue. Of course we could have talked in PMs and whatnot but having it open for discussion by the community has been beneficial to us all. I feel better.

Why would anyone be worried about posting on this forum?

We are weirdos! :rofl1:

Some day I'm going to write up a thesis dictating exactly when a thread on this forum turns from 'serious business' to 'lolcats', or other related subjects. It's always later in the thread, around page 10 or so, where I suspect people just get bored of talking about whatever is at hand, but interest in the subject definitely plays a role in the length of time before derailment. But it took a remarkably long time for this one to shift. Interesting, very interesting *scribbles something in a book*

It's a rainnnboooowwwwww!

I feel the need to start quoting Adventure Time for some very unusual reason.
"REAL nice... how old ARE you?"
"I'm twelve years old!"
