Wow, that was a read! Haha. I just spent an hour of my life reading forum drama LOL I wanted to let everyone know, even if you have "boring" dogs, I always look at all the pictures! (<3 Morrison and Sawyer). I often don't reply though, because usually I'm surfing on my phone and it is waaaay too much hassle to log in and comment on things. Especially when I'm on my lunch hour.
I don't post lots about my personal life, or my dogs. I believe I have been open about getting the JRTs from backyard breeders (Mini and Micki are siblings, Kyra is Mini's daughter). That was 6 years ago, RIGHT before I joined forums, learned and got Jack from a rescue. I used to feel extremely uncomfortable posting pictures of the JRTs because I know that people are judging them based on how they look and not who they really are. I know that they're great dogs, I love them and that's all that matters to me now.
I used to be like some of the people that were commenting a few pages back about not being in the "in group" and feeling like an outsider to an awesome party. Occasionally I still feel that way but I've taken a whole new outlook on the forums. I realized that it really isn't important to me to gain the approval or friendship of every single person on the forum. I used to crave the attention from others and the feeling of belonging. I still don't share much here about me because I don't feel as comfortable, or I feel like it pales in comparison to some of the other more important threads out there.
I try to go into chat, but end up feeling like a creeper and just reading what's going on. Even in person I don't jump into conversations often, and I know if you don't participate you can't get the full effect of anything. I have had less than splendid "friendships" because I'm the most overlooked in a group. I think I'm better at one on one interactions, lol.
Now I'm just rambling, usually I would write all of this and then delete it even before submitting a reply, but I think I'll actually post this time
Not that it really matters haha
ps. I have enjoyed all of the dog (and bunny pictures) in this thread.
