Frustrating how the law works sometimes. If a child is 18 they are considered an adult? Obviously this is so because when my daughter went to the hospital they wouldn't release any information. But now we're being flooded with the bills from her medical care because she used our address...she's kind of drifting so doesn't have one of her own. But because she is independent of our insurance I can't even submit bills to them...she doesn't talk to us...the hospital stay was from a bad batch of something...
I suppose just write on the bills not at this address. But every time I see one, just a whole bunch of dreadful feelings there...A child is independent at 18 so they aren't required to notify you if they live or die...unless they list you as next of kin...but they still expect you to pay the bills...Uh. No.
Gah, thanks for letting me share
