Please vote for the rescue I volunteer for. They are an exceptional group of people who are truly passionate about placing unwanted, neglected dogs into their deserving forever homes.

That's a good contest, Ivy :) I'd have voted for yours, but there's one that's local to me, Grainger County, that is passionate about Pit rescue and getting them into proper homes -- one of the few around me that doesn't just euth them without a chance. :(

The rescue I volunteer for are also pit lovers and advocates. The one lady that runs most of it has a housefull of pits and she just adores them to pieces. They also NEVER euthanize any animal that comes into their care.

Yes, they all commented (with love of course) when I first joined them that my household is getting quite close to lunacy in the sense that she has a housefull of pits, rotties, and so forth....and my house is full of howelling and yoddeling hound dogs!!!

They are a great group of people!!

Thanks for the link. My local SPCA is on their also so I am sorry to say that I voted for them. I'm sure you can understand why people will vote for their local shelter just as they would vote for their own dog if it were in a contest.
