Why are people SO STUPID?! Ok, so I am out in the front with the ferrets, literally just got out there with them (they were on leashes, because I was too lazy to set up the playpen) I step outside and all the sudden a dog comes around the corner... off leash. I pick up all three of the ferrets, and tell the owner to call his dog back. The response? "Oh, my dog is friendly, it is fine". I then yell to him that my ferrets are NOT friendly (it is true, Renegade is not friendly), and I do not care that his dog is friendly. Dog runs up, Renegade jumps out of my arms, and attacks the dog.
When I say attacks, I mean he goes for the dog for the kill. He is fine with dogs that he is slowly brought to, that HE goes to, but dogs running up to him? No way, then he must kill. So not knowing what to do, I let go of Renegade, throw the other two in the house, (literally open the door and throw them in) and work on getting Renegade away from this dog, while this dog is freaking out.
Ren got this dog good. Like, the dog was bleeding pretty well. So of course, I just ran inside and gathered up all the rabies certificates, fully expecting animal control at my house. Doubt the guy will call though, he does not seem to care about his dog anyways. :wall:
Seriously, I was literally 2 steps outside of my door, on MY PROPERTY. wtf is wrong with people?! Sure, your dog is friendly, that is fine... my ferret is NOT! :wall:
