Me too! I've always wanted a sight hound one day and whippets seem like they'd be better than most with the little dogs. Hm.... And they're so beautiful!

I've always wanted to get a dog that I could lure course with. It's amazing to watch sighthounds run.

Oh man... you're making me want another whippet. I love Annie, and I'd seriously love to own a whippet in the future. I used to not like them much till I got Annie and starting being around other whippets. The long hairs are beautiful!

How is the prey drive with them? I seriously want a sighthound in the far future. I had planned on getting one as my first dog on my own but somehow ended up with a pap. I'd still like one but I do worry about the prey drive. I can't give up the toy dogs, I don't think. I'm pretty smitten with them.

Many of the people with whippets have small or toy dogs. Bounce and Dash have no issues with toy dogs. IMO dogs recognize other dogs as dogs not prey unless they have issues.

The borzoi, greyhounds, and saluki, don't go after the little iggies.....
