My uncle had an ACD named Decker but he died this summer from cancer. They are great dogs though!

Yep, I agree they are great dogs! The other 2 (Max & Pepper) we had that's now past on were very smart, protective dogs. They are a great breed to have.

Your ACDs sound great! Any one else on this fourm own one?? I find not many people have an ACD, a lot more havn't even heard of them Where I live people are always asking me what breed of dog Charlie is, and others think he is a mutt...

We have an ACD crossed with black Lab. He's a great dog and VERY protective of the kids! Brutally smart too, and can pick stuff up very quickly.
