Great book for dog lovers looking for love!
I just finished reading the most delightful and enlightening book about dogs and men and women and relationships and how to choose the right one for you. The book is of the “self help†variety with a very entertaining twist. It compares the search for love to that of the search for the right mutt by identifying the characteristics that you are looking for in a mate and gives them a K-9 counterpart in which to explore the possibilities. The book allows you to evaluate your wants, needs and desires you have for finding and understanding your life partner.
As in all satire there’s a lot of truth to be told in the parody, a person who goes out to buy a poodle isn’t going to come back with a Saint Bernard and the same should be true for finding your soul mate. My friend who read it said if she would have had this book thirty years ago she could have save a fortune on therapy bills. Kudos to Author Georgia Sullivan. This is a really fun read!
Even if you don’t get a chance to pick up this charming strategic guide to relationships, I highly suggest checking out the online Porch Dog self test at portchdogs.com, you’ll be amazed at how accurately it pinpoints the characteristics of every man you’ve ever known.
