Okay... most of these are actually pictures of Ticheli. He was feeling very photogenic that day.

I'm still learning to use the camera, so some of the settings are off and some things are blurry... but all in all I think they turned out okay!

Enjoy.

Ticheli watching his toy. This is actually one of the best photos I've taken so far, in my opinion.

Whitacre is the one in front. Big lazy kitties.

I just thought this one was funny.

Looking at a thing...

Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

We're cute!

We're still cute!

Okay, now we're bored. Go away.

And that's all for now! Thanks for looking and I hope you had fun!

Ohh no... Those last three are the best. :) They are GORGEOUS cats, you know. I love their stripes - I can totally believe they are Bengal mixes just from the stripes, lol!

I like how you used flash along with natural lighting.. it gives the pictures a very unique look, and highlights their coloring wonderfully.

Thank you both! I know I am biased, but they are really handsome cats.

We have suspected Bengal mix for a long time, although they were just listed as DSH at the shelter. Apparently, they (along with the rest of their litter) were found in a carboard box along the side of the highway! Seems an odd place for an "exotic" type breed, but what do I know. What I do know, is that we were really lucky to end up with cats as cool as these two!

As for the flash, I was worried that the shadows would be too defined since they were so close to the backdrop, but they turned out okay. That, and I think the flash put some emphasis on the mischievous glint in their eyes. ;)

My kitties are pretty good models, especially Ticheli, so I'll probably be posting lots of pictures of them here. :p

I doubt they're pure Bengal, unless they're VERY badly bred and a breeder was dumping them (we've had BYBs in Bengals for years now, they're even in pet stores). My friend had purebred Persian kittens and his dad finally got pissed off at them, stuck them in a bag, and "went on a drive."

Being Bengal mixes is more likely, though.

ETA: You can go on TCS (the cat site forum) and post picturers of them.. put it in a breed section, I think they have one, or the general cat section, with a title something like "are my cats Bengal mixes." There are a few very experienced Bengal owners and breeders there who can help you. I don't see much, if any, Bengal in their faces, but again.. I don't know Bengals well. The markings say plenty to me, though - one of the things Bengal breeders aim for are defined, vibrant markings, and I have seen a few Bengals with very similar stripes.

Oh, I doubt they are pure Bengal, too. We've had these two for about a year now, so I've had a lot of time to look up websites and books about Bengals. I agree that their faces aren't quite right to be pure. I think pure Bengals look a little more "pointy". Plus, my boys don't really have the facial markings... the "mascara" is kind of there, but very faint.

It's the stripes on their legs and the spots on their bellies that scream "Bengal!" to me. That, and the descriptions of Bengal temperments(sp?) fit my boys really well.

But I'm getting carried away. I am going to check out TCS and post their pictures there, too, and see what more people think. Thanks! :D

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I've only had the camera for a few weeks now, so I am still learning how to use the settings properly. This is my first SLR camera, so I didn't really know what I was doing to start. :p

Wonderful pictures, I thought they were professional until the 4th to last one. Gorgeous cats, I lovelove tabby stripes <3 I've never seen one with a grey tint before, so beautiful!

Thank you! I thought that was a funny picture, too. The kitties think Morgan is the newest, greatest cat-toy ever, so they tend to have that scheming look whenever he's around. :)

Thanks! I suppose my bedsheet-draped-over-folding-chairs-on-a-couch-with-chip-clips backdrop is somewhat less than professional quality. :p I was pleased with how well that plan worked on the close-up shots, though. Plus, it's cheaper than getting a real backdrop. Lol!
