Mojo has been peeing in the house a lot lately. This is not something he does as he has always been very well housebroken. He's also been drinking a lot more water than he usually does. He's also been more "needy..." of me lately.
So of course I freak out. And this morning after talking to my vet on the phone I am to collect a urine sample from my dog. I am being told it won't be too hard - but considering how low to the ground Mojo is and the fact he has to squat... I'm not looking forward to this feat.
I am hoping that the urine test will come out negative and these are just all signs of something that is stressing him. BUT I don't like to take risks with my dog's health... so anytime he does the least bit abnormal thing I run him to the vet with profuse apologies if it turns out to be nothing.
One thing that I can think of that could be stressing him is that my boyfriend is in the process of moving out because we've been arguing more, but we only argued this past friday. Yet, Mojo has peed several times this week on the carpet and once in his crate -- it's just too abnormal for him in my opinion.
Yes... so any other ideas of what it could be? I'm off to now collect urine in a tupperware container. Wish me luck.
