I'm new here and for the most part love this place, lots of great people and info.
I've noticed lately there has been one member who is rude and obnoxious to the point of name calling and insulting other members. I think she is driving away a lot of good people and making it difficult to share information esp in the dog training forum.
I'm not sure if this just hasn't been noticed yet or if this board leaves it to the members to deal with people like this.

We are aware of it Sammy. And it is being addressed. If you feel that you have been treated badly you can bring it to the attention of one of the mods or Chazhound. And you can also use the ignore member feature.

I'm glad you've joined us.

okay, how long does it take for a member such as the one in question to be dealt with? I was told it was 3 strikes your out and the member had recieved 2 strikes.

Saje- I'm glad the situation was being delt with :)
(I don't care that I have been "treated badly" and I certainly haven't born the brunt of it, but the insults and name calling that is going on is making it difficult to have any sort of constructive discussion or share information without it turning ugly.)
How does a member contact a mod/admin or Chazhound? I wasn't sure so I posted this in this forum.

Sammy, I am a moderator and to find the moderators of the different forums you can look at the bottom of each forum. Just pm us with your problems and we'll bring it everyone's attention.

I think if you guys would stop attacking and insulting her she would stop insulting you. It is a two way street ya know. You can't expect her to sit by and allow you to attack her, accuse her of abusing her dogs and call her stupid. I know if I ever get any of that nonsense throwen at me I will defend myself too. She has trained many many dogs and although you may disagree with her methods which is your right I do however feel you don't have the right to say she knows nothing or is harsh, aggressive and abusive. What do you expect? Read all the post before and after and you will see there is way more than one to blame here.

i posted this on another thread..but maybe i should have put it here as well
in an attempt to lighten the mood
sigh its august..its hot..tempers flair with the themometer..but maybe everyone has it out of their system..i sure hope so cause it is such a downer for me too.
Here is a don't worry be happy story to lighten the mood
When i worked at the hospital..i had a desk job for a change...when something needed fixing you called me and i sent out the order and then made the record for it..it was a night job so lovely lovely i had lots of time to sketch or read...one night Jose came in and said you just got to hear this song..and he was dancing around the office to Dont Worry..Be Happy...like a goof..anyway he had put his bag of popcorn in the microwave and wasn't watching it (the microwave old and defective.) so smoke began pouring out of the break room..the alarms went off..the floors started to evacuate..all before he could get in there and yank his "fire" out and extinguish it..I laffed until i fell down..all the paper work that had to be done was all redirected to his desk..hehe
so lets all not worry, be happy, and return to our "normal" selves..
I think we've all had enuff.

Like I said Richie look before and after the threads. What did you suggest to her? I believe you suggested rather strongly that she whipped her dogs, you told her to shut up, and how many times did you swear at her. Also remember you are 12 years old, respect your elders even if you don't agree with them. I must say I was very disappointed in you for the post you made, this does not mean I am angry with you or anything, just as it says disappointed. In most of your posts you are extremely mature and respectful but for some reason you have been sucked into the hatred for Manchesters band wagon and that is so unfortunate.

I agree Renee there is no point to this thread at all, it is not constructive and it solves nothing.

Respect needs to be earned, Yuckaduck, not necessarily given due to age. Richie was being very mature on that thead, everyone was, until Manchesters got in and worked her magic.

I thought we were leaving this thread alone?
