So the big original thread is here: http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149291

I'm able to do a heck of a lot more communication than I was able to before, so I figured a new thread would make sense. When I post on Facebook, I might just copy things to you guys, but I like posting just to you guys too ;) (Depends on how much brain working on a good day).

I had a huge day yesterday because I broke out of the hospital for some time outside! I hadn't been out for almost 2 weeks, which is insane. Great friends came for a visit and we walked around downtown (just a little bit, not too hard for me) and then we went for dinner. I really needed that.

I have Radiation 5 times a week now, so I had that yesterday. It's not that awful, it's just annoying of 15 minutes you can't move at ALL. I'm worried that I'm going to have to sneeze or something...

The actual big Chemo pill I take every day. I only threw up on the first day, which was AWFUL, but we've been working on ways to keep the nausea down. I take it at night, and if I take gravol and go to sleep, that seems to keep the trick. I hope it stays that way! No one likes vomiting.

I'm hoping to get out of the hospital soon, but they haven't decided yet. When we do get out of here, I'll be in Kingston for the Radiation every day of the week so we're looking for the options that are available where we can have a place to stay. My big hope is that I can actually go properly home on weekends! Keep your fingers crossed for that one.

If I'm allowed to complain about anything, my stitches on my head are AWFUL. They are itchy like crazy, I have a constant headache, and I can't put my head down on the left side of my pillow. And there is a little spot of the stitches on my temple, which is a huge pain on my glasses hitting it. Frustrating and annoying on this one. I have lots of other things to complain about, but I'm not thinking that way ;)

So that's my big update for now. I appreciate so much that everyone has been so wonderful with so many messages, Chazzers are amazing and I love you guys <3 It helps me to try and stay as positive as possible, and you guys are just incredible!

Oh man I agree, itchy stitches are the WORST. Augh.

Your positive attitude is so awesome! Remember that we ARE here to vent if you ever need it though - it's important to release the emotion if you feel it bubbling up! We love you. <3

That's awesome that you were allowed to have a day out yesterday!

Thanks for keeping us updated- I check your FB updates and it makes me so happy to see that you're doing so well! I really hope that you guys can get a place to stay outside of the hospital and go home on the weekends as well.

And I definitely agree that itchy stitches are horrible!

I'm so glad you're feeling up to posting updates for us! I think about you several times each day so it's awesome to know how you are doing.
I hope you do get to go home on the weekends. It will be really nice for you to kind of hit that reset button and relax at home even just for a day or two!

That's wonderful that you felt well enough to go gallivanting around town with your friends. What a nice reprieve from being stuck in the hospital for such a long time. Pretty soon those stitches will be out. Hang in there. It does sound really annoying. And feel free to vent or complain about anything to us here. You're deserving of it. I'm glad the treatments aren't making you feel too lousy and that the vomiting didn't continue.

It will be so nice when you can go home for week ends. Things will get easier. Sending loads of vibes to you and I'm always keeping you in my thoughts every day and willing that tumor to shrink down and disappear. Hoping your little one is doing fine and that you get to visit with him lots. ((((((HUGS))))))

I love seeing your updates! You seem to have such a positive outlook and I'm so glad to hear you have such a great support network, especially one that helps you "break out" LOL

I guess you should be glad that they don't make cone collars for people like they do for dogs given your itchy stitches! ;)

Continued "kick that cancer's ass" vibes heading your way! :)

I am SO glad that you are able to update us.
You are being so positive and cheery and it just makes me smile so big.

Stay strong! I am glad things are going better. <3
We all miss you and I will keep praying for you.

(PS- I sent you a friend request on FB. I didn't know if you or Matt would be able to accept it. I just wanted to keep up with you on there, its easier than coming on here since my computer is so slow lol)

Thanks so much for the thoughts :)

I should let you know that Carter and Matt are both staying at the hospital with me (which is a little crazy), and I didn't know if you knew that. I am so thankful that I get to try and be a normal mom through all this. Matt isn't letting me do a ton, he takes on most of the jobs for Carter himself, but I'm starting to do more now that my energy is better. He's such an amazing baby, we've been so blessed with him.

Also, I forgot to tell you this morning (and it's exactly the thing you guys should be told, duh!) it's Sierra's birthday today! It's her 5th! I miss her like insanely crazy, but I know she's having fun at the kennel she's staying at. She loves it there, and I don't need to worry. She's sending me pictures today, I'll see if I can share. I do miss Buddy like crazy too, but he's such a good cat I don't need to worry about him.

Your birthday present to Sierra is to get better so you can go home and see her (which is the best present in the world!) :D
