So the big original thread is here: http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149291
I'm able to do a heck of a lot more communication than I was able to before, so I figured a new thread would make sense. When I post on Facebook, I might just copy things to you guys, but I like posting just to you guys too (Depends on how much brain working on a good day).
I had a huge day yesterday because I broke out of the hospital for some time outside! I hadn't been out for almost 2 weeks, which is insane. Great friends came for a visit and we walked around downtown (just a little bit, not too hard for me) and then we went for dinner. I really needed that.
I have Radiation 5 times a week now, so I had that yesterday. It's not that awful, it's just annoying of 15 minutes you can't move at ALL. I'm worried that I'm going to have to sneeze or something...
The actual big Chemo pill I take every day. I only threw up on the first day, which was AWFUL, but we've been working on ways to keep the nausea down. I take it at night, and if I take gravol and go to sleep, that seems to keep the trick. I hope it stays that way! No one likes vomiting.
I'm hoping to get out of the hospital soon, but they haven't decided yet. When we do get out of here, I'll be in Kingston for the Radiation every day of the week so we're looking for the options that are available where we can have a place to stay. My big hope is that I can actually go properly home on weekends! Keep your fingers crossed for that one.
If I'm allowed to complain about anything, my stitches on my head are AWFUL. They are itchy like crazy, I have a constant headache, and I can't put my head down on the left side of my pillow. And there is a little spot of the stitches on my temple, which is a huge pain on my glasses hitting it. Frustrating and annoying on this one. I have lots of other things to complain about, but I'm not thinking that way
So that's my big update for now. I appreciate so much that everyone has been so wonderful with so many messages, Chazzers are amazing and I love you guys <3 It helps me to try and stay as positive as possible, and you guys are just incredible!
