I am so sorry... that's horrible news :( It's not fair how there are oodles of OOPS litters on Craigslist and the like, but when you do everything right, this happens.

Lots of ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) and continued vibes for Lynx and you.

My heart sunk when you messaged me about this yesterday. I agree with AdrianneIsabel and like I mentioned to you earlier, I don't and will never understand how people who do it all wrong manage to have the easiest litters and the rest of us very often end up with a whole lot of heartbreak and nothing to show for it...

Thankfully mom should be fine, so there's the bright side. YOU on the other hand, don't beat yourself up or second guess, you did nothing wrong, things happen. A drink or two sounded like a good idea...
Thanks, Seven. I'm just mentally and emotionally beat. A friend of mine was trying to be kind this morning and offered me a puppy from her litter (similar bloodlines) in Sweden. She, of course, had 13 puppies. I had to tell her thanks, what a sweet offer, but I'm pretty sure after all these vet bills, I'm too broke to consider shipping a puppy from Europe, which sucks even more. Of course, SHE did everything right also, and it worked out ok, so sometimes it doesn't suck.

Today, it does. Funny when you cry over puppies that were never even born, huh?

Oh my goodness. :( I'm so sorry... what a heartbreak. It's great that Lynx is recovering from it. I wish her the quickest recovery possible.

Honestly, you must be hurting, but remember that you did do everything right and that Lynx is lucky that you bred her. In another situation with a less responsible/experienced breeder, something much worse could've happened! I mean, you even kept her at your house after the breeding. You gave her the best possible chance of having healthy puppies. And I really do feel everything happens for a reason, even if it seems random and cruel.

Thank you. I agree, most of the time. Sometimes I have my moments where I want to scream and cry WHY??? But I get over it.
