need help purple dot on tongue

Hi i need help about 5 months ago my standard poodle pup had a stick in the roof of his mouth. well i noticed that his breath was smelling again like it did when he had the stick in there. well i looked in his mouth and saw this dot at first i thought it was a stick that went through his tongue. but then i got a flash light .and i saw it was a purple dot i know that chows have them but does this mean he is mixed with chow?

A lot of dogs have spots on their tongues. My husky does and she isn't mixed with anyhting. It could be a birthmark or form a scar or bruise.

Ya my moms little puppy has one on his Tongue also..Dont know what it means either..

it's ok i've seen a lot of dogs with that if you think it is an injury just take to the vet and ask
