Wow I didn't even think about the pamphlet!! Thats a good idea thanks!
I'm gonna print out the pamphlette and get the adress for the pit bull flash and find some more information on pits. Then when I go to school tomorrow I can be prepared. Plus it gives me a chance to look smart. :p LOL
And of course I will tell him how sorry I am for him being attacked. I know that it can be scary to be attacked by a dog. I just need to make a point that it's the irresponsable owners fault these dogs are mean.
Thanks guys for the great ideas!! It will be like an entire project! :)

Hey, as long as you're respectful and not rude, voicing your opinion is the right thing to do. Where would this world be if no one voiced their opinion? Well, we know what happens in countries where that's not allowed. If your teachers object to your explaining nicely your thoughts on the matter, then they need to be deported to Iraq or someplace like that. Don't ever let anyone squelch you or stop you from standing up for something you believe in. If you're doing it in a straight forward, polite way, you're on the right path.

Is your teacher even sure that it was a pitbull that he got bit by? It might have just been a dog that was being mean so he just assumed "hey it bit me it must be a pitbull." Lots of pitbull attacks aren't really even done by pits anyways.

THAT's the question I was just going to ask. Is he sure it was a pit? Maybe print this http://www.pitbullsontheweb.com/petbull/findpit.html and show it to him. :D I did NOT get it right for a long time.

Just want to say I'm proud that you stood up for what you believe and defended the pitbulls (as well as any dog that is labelled). There should be more people like you in this world. I hope bringing in that pamphlet helps at school.

Everyone here is proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself too! Being able to stand up like that and voice your opinion tooks guts! Good for you! I see no reason whatsoever why you should get in trouble. You didn't do anything wrong. Have they done anything to the owners of the pits?

I gave my teacher the pamphlet and all the information I found about pits today and told him how sorry I was he got attacked, but he shouldn't blame pits, he should blame the owners and all that. He seemed to be a bit annoyed with me, but I didn't get introuble!! :D
He did ask a few questions and tried to challenge me to make me sound like I didn't know what I was talking about, but I had an answer for all his questions and accusations about pits!! I'm so glad I did my reasearch!
In the end he just sorta sighed and said ok and I think he might have a bit of a different opinion on pits, but I still don't think he likes them. :(

I'm not sure what happened to the owner of the pits. I'll have to find out tomorrow. I really hope they are gonna get something more than just a fine!

Sometimes all you have to do is plant a seed of doubt..and stand back..watch it grow. I am extremely proud of the way you conducted yourself. Thumbs up..Good Job..WAY TO GO!

Thanks! :) Hopefully in the future he won't be so eager to talk badly about pitbulls.
Smkie I love that quote!

Don't worry...you did the right thing! Sometimes the right thing is the hardest thing to do. It's important you defend the breed as a whole and help people to realize that that could have been any breed!!
