That is a very sick puppy. She definitely needs help right away. She looks well underdeveloped. She probably has rickets and has the appearance of hydrocephalus but she could still be quite treatable if you get after it right away. Love her, she really needs that and a lot more.

The update from pups is they got the all clear. I think she caught it from the mother in laws dog.

i dunno what to do.

But the other pups are fine.

Thanks for your interest.

I too am so sorry for the loss of your sweet pup. At least she is no longer in pain, is playing and chasing butterflies by the Rainbow Bridge and waiting until that time in the future when you will join her and you two can cross the bridge together.

I have just read this thread, and I'm so sorry for your loss
At least you were caring and loving enough to do the best by your little baby.

RIP little one.

Did she have a name? She was adorable. At least she knew love in her short life.

Good thoughts

You can never replace a doggy soul, but a new puppy can sometimes take your mind off of the sorrow with their love, puppy kisses and comic performances. So sorry for your loss and hope your kids will come through this well. Unfortunately life is part of death and it is hard to see our children suffer (both canine and human). Sorry for your loss - you were a good mom to Honey.

Please don't bring that pup to your home yet. Distemper virus can live in the environment for a couple weeks, Wait at least 3 weeks before bringing home pup, just to be on the safeside.

Here are some question/answers from a vet about distemper. Read thru them all. Very Interesting.

I hope everything turns out great for you this time around.:)
