I need help and as usual I turn to you guy's to help me.
Quite a while ago I posted a question about my dog refusing to get OUT of the car, you gave me the solution and everything was fine from there on in for quite a while.
Then my husband was lucky enough to be given a company car, so he sold my little car which was OK for me I was happy with it but it lacked a few things like a decent Air Con system which is very badly needed here in texas. I then took his car which was a bit bigger than my old one, my dog went in it for a while then all of a sudden one day I had trouble with her and things are getting worse. When we used to take her car harness out of the cupboard she would go crazy racing around, now she goes and hids under the bed, she will lay on her back and not get up not for anything, not even for chicken/beef. When we do finally get her in the car she cries and whines all the way to doggie day camp or to the park, she has on ocasions pulled so hard to get to us in the front that she has poped the seat belt that holds her harness.
The best to my knowledge, nothing has ever happened while she has been in the car, I dont understand why she is like this, I have tried getting her in the car and then jumping out, rewarding her everytime, just taking her on short runs but its the same everytime she just hates the car she is a little better in my husbands car but not much .....
