Yes you do, but unlike you the OP is either young or could be Dyslexic...or both.
People commenting on her spelling isn't helping her IMO.

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Chloe had puppies about a year and a half ago and it was very very hard on her physically. It wasn't a good experience at all. She ended up witha c-section and it cost lot's of money for vet bills for her and the puppies. We were able to sell the puppies and pay for the bills. There are lot's of things to consider before doing this. My advice would be just to get her spayed and not put your parents, yourself, but most importantly, your dog through all of that.

She's a lovely dog!!!:)

Don't breed, get her spayed. There is no point in bringing "cute" mixed breed puppies into an already overpopulated dog world. She's not purebred, not a working dog, would need health checks done if she were purebred and there could be many health problems for her or the pups.

I remember the day you joined and posted that picture of your sweet girl. I too hope that your Mom sticks to her guns and you as well see that this would be a wise decision. Breeding her would not be in her best interest and I know you must love her a lot, she looks very well cared for.

Ditto everything everyone said!

Just enjoy your pet! Let her enjoy her life! Thats what responsible pet owners do:D
PS. Tell your mom its not a good idea. Have her look at some of the responses here if she would:)

Ya, dont breed. I did it and it really sucked! Dont get me wrong, I love my puppies, but I wanted to keep them all. I got so attached it wan't funny. Cried for days. Even still cry when I see pics of them.
The mess is nasty, the bitch suffers sooo much. Sooo painful.

It is really not worth it.

If you got the puppy fever that bad, spay her and go adopt a different pup from a shelter. That'd cure your pup blues!

Trust me, it is hard.

I agree with all above.. It was hard and expensive enough to bred purebred Goldens ..... I would never breed a mixed breed . Your Dad won't have the 8 to 10 weeks input of bringing up a litter .... Please have her spayed in 3 months. If not... come back for our help and input . Having just adopted a mix bred retriever , I know what happens to these " BYD " babies.

my babys a purebred and good enough to show but were not going to breed her, i would hate to see her go through pain for little reson, trust me to see pups die when being born is not good, your mum is right, responsible breeders will only breed to better the breed or continue lines of herding ect. the size of your pup will not dertermin how many pups she will have, but i can see that you know that, your dog is very pretty.

Even if you find wonderful homes for all the puppies it is still not a good Idea. Why....because if you find homes for 12 puppies that means there are 12 less wonderful homes left for the many many dogs in your area who are sitting in shelters.

Please Spay her and adopt a nice puppy to keep her company.

Punkypalomino,

Hello! I have a Palomino, too. :)

You really should spay your girl. She is a mixed breed, and mixed breeds don't need to have puppies.

There are also currently 2,098 Collies and Collie mixes in need of rescue and forever homes on PetFinder.com, so you really shouldn't be producing more.

Please do what is best for your dog, spaying her.

Punky,

So does that mean you're going to spay your girl??

My Palomino is Appendix (QH/TB) and her father is Copper Seeker Bars, one of my mother's late stallions. I have a photo of her somewhere on this computer but if I can't find it I'll go snap one on my camera phone later.

She is gorgeous, and all grown up :D You can really see the setter in her :D

There are lots of risks with having puppies, it's not really a good idea for anyone to do it except a proper breeder.

Cost's LOTS of money too. And there is a chance of mum and puppies becoming ill, or even dying :(

And there are 100's and 100's of puppies and dogs in pounds and shelters, and put to sleep every day :(

Have a look in the breeding section, and there is LOADS of information in there about responsible breeding!
