I'm offically moved in. My dad picked me up at my mom's today a little after 1 pm, we got to his house about 4:45pm and I started unpacking alittle after 5 pm, and I finished unpacking around 7:45pm. So I've moved in great and I hope and pray to live a long, healthy, safe and fun life w/ my daddy!!!!! My rabbit is doing great also, I think she got alittle dizzy on the car ride up here, but she didn't use the bathroom in the pet taxi crate we got her, we didn't put her in her actual pen because it was to big so we got her a pet taxi instead, and she didn't throw up.

Now about Levi.... my dad and I have decided to give Levi to a good home. Now before anyone says something like I'm being mean and this is the 2nd dog let me tell you why I'm letting Levi go.
First I personally don't think I'm ready for a dog and I don't think I knew as much about the Australian Cattle Dogs as I thought.
# 2 I think I'm going to wait b/c I just moved to my dad's and with everything I'm going to do during school I'm afaird I'm not going to have time for him.
#3 last but....I think I should wait on having a dog until about a year or so, so I can learn and research on what dog I think is right for me, instead of getting rid of a dog and then go get another one right away.

Now if there r any comments please feel free to post here OR make another for me. Thanks

Im glad the move went well.

Im sorry your rehoming Levi but from the reasons you gave it sounds like a good decision.

Stick around even if you are dogless you can play with all of ours.

Levi too good home! 5 months old August 15, Blue Heeler, loves to play, needs training and more attention that I'll be able to give him. Please don't take this the wrong way people, I hope yall understand and yall will be nice and mature about this. Thanks

Dakotah, I noticed that you mentioned that you have a rabbit and that it did not throw up during the car ride. Just for future reference, rabbits do not have the ability to vomit. I own three buns myself and have spent a lot of time researching them so that I can raise them properly. If you ever have any questions about your rabbit feel free to PM me.
What kind of bun do you have? I have a mini-lop, mini-lop/flemish giant mix, and a 22lb, 8 month old, pure flemish. I love my buns!

Thanks and I didn't know that they couldn't vomit *blushes*
I have a Black and White Drawf Rabbit, and her name is Gus. She is 4 lbs, and just turned 1 in June!!!!

Ok I'll ask you questions about rabbits if I need too. Thanks

I think you're being very responsible in finding Levi a good home. Hope you're happy there !!

I learn something new everyday too! No blushing needed. I just learned that horses can't vomit either! What a cute bun you must have, I would love to see pictures if you have any. My bunnies are obviously pictured in my signature although Diva my flemmish is quite a bit bigger now.

I agree that you are responsible for trying to find him a new home, but this IS the second dog you're rehoming. You couldn't handle an aussie shepherd, now you get an aussie cattle dog puppy and find you can't handle him so you need to get rid of him.

I'm sorry, but the fact that you didn't learn enough before getting him is irresponsible to me.

I* understand where you are coming from gaddy, and I'm glad that you said what you felt and I agree w/ you. I'm was irresponsible not to learn more about the breed, and I feel bad that I have to rehome him, but I think thats something I have to do. I'm not planning on getting another dog for awhile, so I can make sure I'm ready for a dog and learn more about what breed I plan on getting. Thanks for being honest, but it sound slike to me you where being very mean, but I understand.

Well I think it's good that you realise that you are not ready for a dog and want to find a home for him that is, but getting a dog without doing enough research is irresponsible. It just is.
Yes, I was rude. I was flat-out, which I seriously rarely do. But what you did is very irresponsible to me.
