Well my husband and I decided to put up a four stall barn, much smaller but just to keep maybe a couple of our own horses in and we have three additions who are coming to our barn on Sept 15/2005. I guess the barn needs to be up by then and we already have set up our hay since we lost all of that too. Here is a picture of the sire to the three we have aquired.

We are not sure if we are buying these guys or just boarding, the owner has run into some health issues and her daughter has asked us to take the three babies; I guess time will tell as to whether we buy or just board but it will be fun for now I hope.

Here is Sheza Zippin Lady

Here is Simon

Here is Zippos Good Time

I do not know if they are for sale the daughter just asked me to take them on Sept 15 because she is going back to work and won't be able to look after them. She has sold the sire and the babies are all that is left, I have no clue what happened to mommies. The owner is sick in the hospital so until she actually says they are for sale I will assume they are being boarded.

Nice looking horses. How old are they? My guess are:

Zip: yearling
Simon: 4-7 months
Zippo: year and half

Very close from what I was told they are sheza is a yearling so you got that one and Simon is 6 months so you got that one but Zip is a two year old so very close.

Yeah to bad she sold him, I would have bought him. He is gorgous, and apparently always in the ribbons in the Western classes. Oh well maybe get his babes gotta wait and see what the deal is.

Yea the horses look nice I think.

From the pictures they look nice, I have not seen them in real life yet either so will know better when I see them. She just emailed the pictures and asked me to take them and of course I said yes because I don't want them being sold at auction or something out desperation.

I don't really like Zippos confirmation. He's cute though. He's legs just bug me.

Sheza has a nice top line and ok legs. And little Simon is just too cute. He looks pretty leggy. Maybe he'll be a tall boy??? Is he a purebred?

So it's not just me? I couldn't tell if I was being thrown off by all the white on his legs or if he really might have upright pasterns or some such. I'd like to see him in person though.

I do not know but I have some checking to do because I think maybe I have been scammed here. I will get back to you as soon as I have the facts but the picture of the sire looks aweful familiar and I am just doing a search on the internet for the horses names under the APHA registry to see what comes up.

If you could see the pictures here you would see it is the same as the first and third baby, identical as a matter of fact and the sire is on that website too. I also found Simon on the same website in Michigan. Hmm-can't get a hold of her to find out why she lied to me and sent me these stolen pictures but I am rather pissed right now. There was no need to lie if they are not these foals I would still have taken them, but now I wonder if the foals are stolen and she is trying to id them falsely. I don't know what to do here because it makes no sense to me to lie and steal pictures unless the foals were stolen and she is trying to ditch them somewhere. Oh boy what to do???

You just run into the nicest people, don't you Heather?
Hey I don't even know this person she said she got my email from a friend and I do know the friend rather well. Very respectable horse farm, so it makes me wonder what is up. At least we can say that the horses in the pictures are not stolen, I called the number on the website and he told me they were all accounted for. I also know that apparently there is a pony on the property of this lady but I don't know what if anything else. I am trying to find out from neighbours and that around there. I do have a friend who is driving out there and should be reporting in about 5-10 mins, so that will give me an idea to what is happening here.

Ok these hroses are not stolen but the pictures are. I finally found out the truth. The daughter feels that her mom is too old to have these ponies, so she stole nice pictures in hopes of enticing me into buying the paint ponies and then it would be buyer beware so I would have been screwed. They are paint ponies not foals and there are three. The sire is just a stolen picture here.
