LOL, because a friend with medicaid just told me she'd only get one ultrasound at 16 weeks, which I thought was weird...and then she said all doctors do it differently, I was wondering if it had more to do with risk or health insurance.

All the ones I had with Savannah and Bev were risk wise except for the normal 2. Only got one with Morgan since we found out his gender in the one with no issues and he was healthy
I had a bunch. The first with Samuel were at 9 weeks because I almost miscarried and they were trying to check the placenta (it was literally hanging by a thread). Obviously he's okay, but they were doing them pretty often to keep an eye on his development, the reattachment, etc. Both of my kids had them weeklyish - biweekly in the last trimester because I had lots of early labor stuff and they were checking fluid levels and things.
