Might be getting a new puppy

So the bf has wanted a blue healer for years and I have always said no because one herding mess of a corgi was enough for me. But after the last year of him doing most of the poo work with the horses and putting up with me picking out his weanling for him I have been feeling kind of bad about it. He said he wanted a female dobe but I think that was more cuz I want dobes(although if it was a cute red female dobe I would have shown him that to!)

So on one of my horse forums today was a post about a cute little blue heeler puppy someone bought and then got a new job and does not have enough time for it. They are in Virginia but it was so cute and needed a home so I sent the pics to the bf and he called and is hoping to get off work friday to drive down there and get him.

I have some other ones she sent to my cell playing with her dogs but for some reason my blackberry hates me and is not emailing pics right now so I can't get them on the comp

I know its dumb to drive seven hours when there are probably hundreds in between but he needs a home and it'll be a fun day trip anyway right So if this works out we will have a new puppy this weekend! Chaz is excited as I won't let him take any of my dogs anywhere(I am an anxious paranoid person when it comes to my babys!) and he works somewhere he can take a dog with him.

So hope for no blizzards this weekend! Which oddly enough blizzard is his name. Think we will call him blitz though.

It was easier to get saturday off vs him getting friday off so we are leaving around 6am saturday hopefully to be there between one and three. Then the long drive back But there will be puppy! (hopefully not puking on us!happens to me every time)

I would rather take our car but since the weather has been so bad everywhere looks like we will just suck it up and fill up the explorer a couple times.

This will end up being one expensive puppy!

Anyone need a dog picked up along the way

Looks like we might not be getting him now

She emailed me last night and said he was sick (didn't say what was wrong) and going to the vet today. Have not heard anything else today except she was at work and would call later. I think she might have just changed her mind and doesn't want to say it.

I was really looking forward to puppy and now the bf is all I will never get a puppy sad

Ugh. I got the day off and everything.

Hopefully the pups ok though.

Well she called last night and said come get him. Been driving six hours.in west Virginia now.about an hour from them! I don't know if I can figure out pics from my blackberry but when I get home at 1amish ill get some! Lol! It is so pretty down here! I saw q bald eagle.never saw one not in a cafe at a zoo!

I hope he is healthy but just got a he seems fine now answer.said she called her vet and he said just watch him.never even told me the specific symptoms. I think she was just second guessing giving him up cuz it sounds like she doesn't want to. I am so tired! Got to work tomorow to. Slept for an hour but these curves are kinda nerve wracking!
