Natural Balance Venison and Brown Rice forumla. Zeus has food allergies that were giving him a lot of ear problems. Since we switched to this, his ears have been perfect.

home prepared food, predominantly consisting of raw meat and bones, but also a small amount of fruits, veggies, dairy products and healthy table scraps.

I rotate between Raw home prepared, Canidae, Nature's Variety, Holistic Blend and some times Natura products. I found with my super allergenic dog dog Cassie she does fantastic on Holistic Blend Lamb and Nature's Variety Venison. I am trying her out on Go! Natural - Salmon after she finishes this bag of Holistic blend and see how she does on that...just for a change.

I always rotate my food every 3-4 months to give my dogs variety. They thrive on this.;)

I am curious what needs to be settled?

I feed Burns and naturediet, as well as raw meaty bones and some veg as treats, they also get fish and some raw meat weekly, and an egg once or twice a week

My older dog eats Wellness Senior and my male eats Wellness Fish and Sweet Potato, both receive ample (but not complete meals) of raw and meaty bones.

I also give Glucosamine and Chrondroitin supplements as well.

kind of a funny title to this thread...nothing needs to be settled. it's up to the owner and the particular dog. Innova here, supplemented with raw chicken wings/necks/backs daily, and other healthy foods. I try to balance it all, so that they don't overeat..so the kibble to me is a supplement. or, some days the kibble is the main meal...but I always include some of the chicken. they just really love it. :) I never eat fat, so they have to eat lean also. I would think with all the dog food battles that rage....it's really rather obvious that it's up to what an idividual feels is best for their dog. :) (altho, I really would hope that most would lean towards a healthier kibble after learning more about what's available)

1 cup raw [rice, pasta, potatoes, all kinds of veggies, veal, beef liver, ground beef, chicken, some fruits]
1/2 cup Kirkland Signatures [Chicken and rice]

that is breakfast for the adults.

Supper is 2 cups of KS

Flurry will eat the same food as the adults but in reduced amounts but right now I am slowely switching over so she gets the junk that the breeder was feeding mixed with Solid gold Wolf cub, and 1/4 cup of raw in the morning. Kibble at noon and for supper. The junk is almost gone, then it will be Solid Gold for about a week and then the change over to my food.

The kennel rescued dogs get Blue Seal.

I feed Eagle Pack holistic select chicken meal and rice for adults and puppies kibble formula. I would like to mix in canned food but then they get really finicky and refuse to eat food unless it is mostly, if not all, canned food. I also add in raw beef soup bones and oxtail as well and they LOVE that. They don't really like veggies but they like so fruits. I give them so plain yogurt as well, if they finish all their kibble.
