There's not much of a story to tell AP, I was snooping through Craigslist and inquired about her. I went to pick her up yesterday and have never been so horrified in my life.
I saw at least 7 dogs in the house (minus her) a Husky outside (and it was -10F or so yesterday) and the guy said he had 3 more GSD's that I didn't see. The house smelled funky, ok, beyond funky. More of that OMG what died in here. But their house was neat and picked up, just that horrid smell...I don't know how someone can live with that because I could still smell it on Lacey and my clothes after I left and my truck still reeks of it and doggy barf.
He put her in the truck for me so I didn't notice her weight until we got home. She didn't *look* thin, but she has pretty long hair. When I got her out of the truck and picked her up, I could feel almost every bone in her body. She weighs probably 30 lbs or so because I struggle with a 40 lb bag of dog food and not with her.
I paid the rehoming fee, which maybe I shouldn't have, but at least this guy's not the breeder (I got her AKC papers and it's someone else so that's kind of a relief)
She's doing better today, last night was interesting because she had diarrhea and I had puddles all over my house, I think I killed the warranty on my steam cleaner!
