my digital camera, it works, i cantake photos. i plug it inot the computer and NOTHING, its not new, i've had it for a while and uploaded pics from it before. but for the last few months. when i plug it in, it doesn't do the thing where it loads up my photos, it isn't even aware its plugged in.

anyone know how i can get it to upload manually?

did you try clicking on "My Computer"? should be on your desktop or start menu. dont know if youv tryed that or not, but if its plugged in it should show it on that.

nah, it doesn't show anything. i don't think its registering that i've plugged anything in at all

Do other things work when they're plugged into that USB port on your computer? If so, then it could be a bad USB cable, or a bad USB port on the camera.

I had the same problem. I bought a "Card Reader" for about ten bucks off Amazon . com that plugs into the USB. Works great.

M-roses I have a kodak, and it does that sometimes too..........try restarting your computer.

THEN hook your camera up for a download..........hit the transfer button on the camera. That should bring up your folder, if not check "my computer" again for the removable drive.

You may need to reload the software that came with it, if all else fails that is

actually, soemone told me they had to reinstall their software.. thing is.. i have no idea where it is.
