Katya is heading for the bridge on Monday

So the time has come to say farewell to Katya. She is ready for her trek across the rainbow bridge but will be helped on her way on Monday.

The pain level she is experiencing at this point is just to much. She is on massive amounts of pain killers and is not interested in moving around much or even going outside which is her favorite place to be. The vet prescribed her some Valium to help her through the weekend and then we have a sedative to give her Monday so she will already be asleep when she is brought to the vets for her crossing of the bridge.

I have been holding it together pretty well but as I type these words it's just become to real. Saturday we will be going over to my moms to celebrate Katya...take pictures, video, and snuggle with her.

I know she has lived back with my mom for a few years now but she is still one of my gang and it hurts something fierce to have to say goodbye to her.

I love you so much my friend and it's not fair to have to say goodbye yet again. To many lives lost in to short a time.
