I was approved for Jonathan, and he is going to be coming home next week! Now, if I wasn't poor, I would call in 'sick' to work on Tuesday and rush out to get him then, but I think I'm going to have to wait until Friday or Saturday to go get him. This is, of course, unless I explode before then, which is a strong possibility.

So, now he needs a new name, because I don't like his. The top picks are:
Gambit
Danner
Gideon
Tug
Though I am open to suggestions from Chazzers. He is an early and perfect Christmas present to myself, and feel free to remind me of these words two months from now when he's driving me insane.

Poor Argon isn't going to know what hit him!

hooray and congrats! He's a cutie--and I like the name Tug (makes me think he's tugging at your heart strings..which is why you are bringing him home!)

GIDEON.
I am such a Criminal Minds nerd. And I miss Gideon. He was fabulous.
LOVE that name. I think you should pick it.
Plus, not many dogs named "Gideon" that I am aware of. :D

I like Gideon too! I also think its the closest to his old name (syllables and same ending) so he might respond to it better, if he is already starting to get used to Jonathan... not sure how old he is though! Congrats :)

Well, you've got an Argon, what about Neon? Might as well keep up the "Noble Gases" and that coat is flashy! :rofl1:

Argon: A colorless, odorless, inert gaseous element constituting approximately one percent of Earth's atmosphere, from which it is commercially obtained by fractionation for use in electric light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and radio vacuum tubes and as an inert gas shield in arc welding. Atomic number 18; atomic weight 39.948; melting point -189.3°C; boiling point -185.9°C. See Table at element.

Neon: A rare, inert gaseous element occurring in the atmosphere to the extent of 18 parts per million and obtained by fractional distillation of liquid air. It is colorless but glows reddish orange in an electric discharge and is used in display and television tubes. Atomic number 10; atomic weight 20.180; melting point -248.67°C; boiling point -245.95°C. See Table at element.

Renee- I actually fostered a Neon last year! He was a sweetie (ok, only to me  ), but he died due to an unfortunate brain tumor. Krypton and Xenon are thoughts though....
