Is this normal?

I have a 4yr old Golden Retriever. Lately I have really noticed that he's getting a lot of white on his face. I even had one lady tell me that he looked like he was an older dog. He doesn't act like an older dog, he's usually the one rousting the other dogs to play with him.
So I was wondering if any other Golden owners have had there pups have a lot of white on their faces and is it normal for my boy to have so much white on his face.

All dogs get white in the face when they age. My moms pug is only 3 years old and she has a lot of white fur on her face. Its completely normal.

I know all dogs get white on them when they age. But I figured this would be a little different considering he's only 4. All the goldens that I have seen haven't gotten white on their faces until around the age of 6 or so.

My cousin's Golden, Gertie started getting white at 3. My dog King suddenly started getting white at about 6, and sister Molly is just starting to now.

It doesn't mean anything. Gertie was 14 when she died.
